    INetBet Address Verification Difficulties

So, I manage to turn a $10 deposit into a $100 win and beat wagering requirements on INetBet's welcome bonus. Hooray. Apparently I'm the only person who hasn't felt the wrath of RTG.

I submit a withdrawal from INetBet (I deposited through eWalletXpress) and was asked to send in a fax verification form. Wonderful. It faxed, but the following morning (since 24/7 support must only mean "9:00 AM - lunchtime GMT support " in UK English) I get the following message:

Only half of your driver license came through, could you send an full legible copy please?
Oh, ok. I didn't get a copy of the reverse side of my driver's license. No problem. I make another copy, and this morning, I get the same message:

Hi Glen, unfortunately you've sent through a similar copy, half the image is missing.
To eliminate my fax machine as the culprit, these are two different copies with the driver's license images on different parts of the paper. Futhermore, all other details went through fine. There is something amiss here.

AHA! I realized that there may be a problem in understanding that an under-21 Idaho driver's license is oriented vertically, which, on a black-and-white copy, looks like half of a typical driver's license. Be assured that my address and all other necessary information is on this vertical driver's license. I reply to support, explaining why my license looks like it's half missing, and, shockingly, got a reply immediately (which doesn't explain why my query as to wagering requirements or to reduce my minimum bet went unanswered, but I'll take it where I can get it). Nonetheless, here it is:

We require some proof of address, such as a bank statement or utility bill, in order to complete your verification. We have been unable to manually verify your account from the information provided.

Please forward this to us at your earliest convenience.

My address is clearly on my driver's license. But, alas, rather than drag this out another day, I'm just going to fax them the damn bank statement rather than explain my quirky license once again.

Considering the situation has taken only three days thus far (withdrawal was initially requested on Saturday), I'm not too terribly worried that it won't get resolved. I'm just slightly amused at this whole thing for now.

Incidentally, are there any other states besides Idaho that do vertical driver's licenses for the under-21 crowd?

Thanks you two for your affirmations

Just faxed the bank statement and INetBet got right on it -- my account is ready for withdrawals

Thanks INet! I'll give you a break on interpreting my driver's license

For what it's worth, it appears as though the best time to get a reply from them is early mornings in the US. Just a heads up for any prospective player.

ETA: I am amazed with the sudden quality of INet's support. They were incredibly quick to help me with the withdrawal process, and even sent a message with a smiley face in it!

Not too much praise. They really failed you with their explanations. Most casinos require TWO pieces of documentation. This would be something like a drivers license AND a separate document, such as a bank statement or utility bill. You were simply asked to send in what was routine, nothing special. They MUST have seen your address on the drivers license, but their reply made it sound like they could NOT see it, so needed the bank statement. What they REALLY wanted was something else to verify it against, normally a utility bill or bank statement, showing the same address as the ID document.

Faxing it also produces problems, and maybe the boundaries of the document were not clear, making them think it had been cropped in half. When preparing these, I leave some "background" to ensure it is clear where the edges of the document are, and that the whole document has been sent.

    Congrats,

I'm doing the opposite, getting the docs pre-approved so I don't go through this IF I do win.

Hiya: I e mailed them my Docs. So much easier, and better quality. And, imhop, It is always better to send over Doc's, "Prior", to requesting a withdraw.
    open acct
    deposit
    play
if you lost it all, by by, or try again
if you Won some, STOP, send in Docs, play some more if you desire
cash out with docs already approved before hand
