    and the newbies

When people enter the world of online gaming they use up no deposit bonuses and first time match bonuses (until they learn about T/C and casinomeister) so it's not at all uncommon for people to have registered with 10+ casino's to take advantage of these. Use it once and on to the next one.
Some people also will not deposit without a bonus and go hunting for the biggest ones. Competitive bonuses IMO have been the worst thing to generate customer loyalty it's almost like a big ponzi scheme. I wonder if there's any online casino's that could survive and meet pay outs on long term players alone.

Sure you can. What if someone started gambling say 3 years ago, then got a new computer last week, forgot they created an account with "abc casino" 3 years ago and creates an account?

When we got our computer a few months back, I was supposed to be on that one, but we had to put it upstairs and it is very hot up there and lonely . I went to install a RTG that I have already played at and my username wasn't there, the pop up came up asking if I would like to create an account.
But why would you create another account if you knew 3 years ago you played at this casino? Would you not have contacted the casino for your details? Some people I know keep a spreadsheet of all the usernames and passwords they have accumulated. I don't know if anyone want to do this but I find it helpful..
Give a fool his space....don't want to get caught up in their drama

What if you forgot? It was 3 years ago.

I have contacted casinos about forgot usernames/passwords, it's pretty easy. Yes, I have heard of people keeping a spreadsheet as well, I used to have one, but I guess it just got old, or I threw it out....ahhhh the old days, where I could play anywhere I wanted, and deposit however I wanted. But I digress.

I keep losing my sheet I have all my casinos, account numbers, user names and passwords, even when it's always in the same place, can't find it, but still a very good idea. I resorted to the same user name and password for all casinos I had played at.

Well...a daffodil sometimes, snapdragon other times, depends on the mood of the day.
Never a petunia, that's the name of the neighbors dog.

    Not all

Most casino's (accredited ones etc.) will understand if you make a multiple account by mistake.

Most of us genuine players that make multiple accounts as an honest mistake use our REAL names The same address and phone numbers etc etc.

All scammers/bonus abusers are usually identified by the fact they try different addresses and names etc from the same i.p address.

I was explained this when I had mistakenly made another account at an mg casino. The rep had said that since your details matched, they knew I was not out to de-fraud them. But then again I rarely take any sort of deposit bonus.

    Cheers Matt

At one time I took a lot of free offers, and deposited at a few. After joining CM, I started asking if I had an account already. At one casino I had created an account, but the casino was under another name back then (was maybe 10 years ago). Now how is a player supposed to know something like that?

I've always registered under my real name and real birthdate, so you would think that if these details match, they would check if it was you or not. I've only had two addresses since 1994 when I first got the internet, and only two ISPs.

And with all the Reds Sevens and Vegases and Slots etc, it's hard to remember which is which sometimes.

Not really, they never use the same IP address if they arent completely stupid.

And agreed if you use the same details the casino should know that you are an honest player who did a mistake. Altough thats not always the case, heard some horror stories over the years.
