    Inetbet Random Jackpots ?????

Now, I realise I am the self appointed random jackpot queen of 2010 BUT PLEASE can someone explain why the jackpot on this particular game goes up to around the $5005.00 dollar mark then drop back to $499*...something whilst spinning over at the speed of light the whole time?
This happened numerous times over the half hour or so I was playing it.
I took these screen shots in order to prove my point.
    Hope it works

This was explained in other thread somewhere. It happens at all RTG's.

If I recall, its has something to do with not being in "Real Time"...which I think is funny as hell.

I don't know about all RTG's but iNetBet is doing this and it really bugs me too. It just started doing this today, it was fine last night.

Often jackpot displays drop below their actual level and are shown to be increasing rapidly to the actual level of the jackpot, just to create a sense of urgency and encourage people to play more. If that makes sense.

When it reaches the actual level it will stop, but if you exit and re-enter the game you might find it has dropped down again and is increasing as before.

I've observed Playtech and MG doing this, probably RTG do it too.

Well someone just won the Ceasars Empire for over 12 grand at INet, and I can tell you when I played the RJ did the samething. It also did this on Achillies when I played. I think but I am not 100% positive that this was brought up before. I also know it happens on Jackpot Cleopatras Gold all the time.

Has anyone noticed if this happens at any other casino?

Well it has been almost 12 hours since I was playing achilles at Inetbet. I just logged and the jackpot starts at $5496.
When I was playing it, it would go up to $5507 then drop back to $5495 or 6.

    Just seems odd to me.

It's a feature of the game to make it look like something is happening. It gives the perception that the games are getting play, but when it drops back down it comes down to what the proper jackpot should be. It eventually comes down to a higher lever as the RJ increases. This is something the casino has the ability to have turned on or off.
