Just curious as to a decent starting amount. With roulette you can't do anything productive on less than 100 bare bones. Are people depositing 20 for slots and having good luck? or should you deposit more to have a decent chance? Some play the guaranteed bonus feature games are they worth dumping the required money in to trigger the bonus feature?

I would say there is no decent amount... dependant on what bets you would like to begin playing at... You need to check if your deposit is actually going to get you a decent number of spins to hit the feature.... The feature also doesnt guarantee that you would win a decent amount.... There also may be hits inbetween... In my experience, its not uncommon for Slots to go between 50 - 1000 spins without the feature (Ouch - I know)

Since the Slots are tight these days IMO... maybe low roll on a small deposit on minimum bets to get the feel for them... then decide what bankroll may be sutiable to you...

Im sure a lot of the other guys will advise you as well... Good Luck Bud!

A suitable deposit fits your budget. If you want to play for a while, keep your bets small.

I think a lot depends on the platform, and some games are higher variance (fewer small hits to keep you going, but big wins when you hit) than others.

I usually deposit 30 or 40 at a time, with the occasional bigger deposit to take a good bonus, or if I've got $$$ sitting in my Moneybookers account.

If you take a bonus, I usually find it's best to play a modest amount so you don't get tied to a huge Wagering Requirement.

Depends on the game, but I usually like to start with about 100X my bet size if I want to play for awhile.

IMO, 100x your bet size is too small a bankroll. At $1 per spin you can be gone in 15 minutes if the slots you are playing are cold. I normally start with 1000x my minimum bet. So for $1 action I would want $1000 on hand. I normally play with 40 - 50c bets so my starting bankroll is normally $500. If I were betting 20c I would want no less than $200. Yes you can win on a $100 deposit but that is playing with scared money. You have no room for a bad run.

I play slots from time to time. I usually throw in about 200 credits. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
I think the answer to your question depends heavily on how much a person is betting per spin. :p:p:p

Only when I'm on a bonus will I practice the 100x rule....because you'll either make it or you won't, and grinding away at a bonus from the start isn't going to cut it ;)

For normal play, I feel safe with around 200x...but then again, if a slot feels ice cold, I'll switch instead of throwing my money away...sometimes after about 50 spins or less. RTG's are the easiest to read. 9 times out of 10 if you're going 5-10+ spins without at least a 4x win, then they'll never loosen up before you're broke.
