    ladbrokes lost deposits

anyone have any advise on a problem that happenned a few days ago at ladbrokes.

I tried to deposit £100, filled in the clicksafe screen and it just went blank.Tried again and same thing happenned so I left for while. On checking later it showed the status of the 2 £100 deposits as "unknown".
30 mins later this changed to "cancelled". I didnt think too much about it until
I checked my bank balance and found £200 had been deducted.I sent 3 emails
to ladbrokes CS over the next couple of days and got no response which is surprizing considering one was to VIP help.
There is now no record of the transactions showing on the ladbrokes account history and nothing relating to them is showing on my bank statement but I am certain £200 was deducted. I have tried to reconcile my bank balance but
it is difficult as I have quite a few pending deposit and withdrawal payments and details on the the statement lags behind by 2 days.

any advice on where to go from here ?

That's frustrating! I don't know if my experience will help, but I've had issues like this in the past using UseMyBank - and basically I had to deal with three separate entities, the casino, the intermediary (in my case UseMyBank), and the bank.

Doesn't Ladbroke's have live chat? Get online with them and see what they say. If they're saying that the funds didn't go through, then contact the intermediary - it's possible that they took the funds from your bank but they're stuck in limbo somewhere in pending status until clearing. If the intermediary says that the funds never came from your bank, then contact your bank. If the funds were deducted from your bank, the bank with have a transaction ID - you send that ID to the intermediary and wait for them to find it. At the same time, your bank will look into the transaction but it usually takes them a lot longer.

My last issue with UseMyBank it took them a couple of days to find the funds once they had the transaction ID from my bank. Then about a month after that I got a call from UseMyBank saying that they'd just received notice from my bank that they owed me a refund - by that time the money was long gone.

    Good luck!

Thanks for your comments.I sent a message to the Ladbrokes rep on here
today and recieved an email from Ladbrokes CS saying that they had not recieved my emails and had sent an email the on the day of the problem, so
I think it must be an issue with my email account.
Anyway it seems that my bank are holding the money and it should be returned to my account within 10 days.
