Received an email from VIP Lounge

Sorry maybe I should put this is the jokes section...

Subject: We Want to Resolve Previous Player Issues With You

    Dear Cindy,

Through the years, we've worked hard to create a great gaming experience for all of our players. (Is THAT what they call it? ) While most players have been happy, we realize that frankly, some players may feel otherwise.

Because of this, we believe it is imperative that we resolve any previous issues with our players who feel their issues may have been dismissed with either unsatisfactory or unacceptable results.

To this, I would like to inform you that we have created a new specialized client care department. The purpose of this department is to provide our group of companies the ability to offer our members, a more personalized client service which would serve to address any issues or concerns on an ongoing basis.

At this time I would like to encourage all our members who feel they've not received the attention or the decisions they expected to contact our dedicated department. This department's mandate is to address any and all member issues including delayed payments, bonus disputes, etc. I will ensure that your concerns will be handled with promptness and care. Most importantly, all legitimate claims WILL be addressed and resolved immediately.

If you have any questions, issues to be resolved or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

    All the best,

    Marty Davis
    Sr. Marketing Manager
    Gambling Wages
    Contact info removed by moi...
Interestingly, I asked Marty to make sure I was off the phone list and that any accounts that I had with the group that were open were to be closed. I guess that didn't trickle down to getting me off the email list.

But I wanted to post this to show you guys and see what you think. Does this mean that they're contacting anyone who was a player to get past issues resolved? Whaddya think?

I was contacted with same email. What this does show me is that he is taking initiative to reach out to players in their database. That's a good sign that he means what he said about helping get issues resolved. I still won't deposit there, but at least he is trying to right past wrongs.
    This was kind of laughable:

"Through the years, we've worked hard to create a great gaming experience for all of our players."

Now, Marty, that almost implies that you have been there the whole time.

Call me cynical (and most people do! ) but it makes me wonder if people who aren't members of gambling forums are getting this mail too - no way to find out really is there?

I thought that too, but my usernames at their casinos are nowhere near what my name here is, as well as I have a different email I use for casinos than the one I registered with here. Frankly I don't see how they could single me out as a forum member.

That's good to know, thanks! I guess we'll just have to assume that the mails are going to everyone....and spin doctoring or no, people are getting the opportunity to deal with past issues, which is a good thing.*

*NOTE: in no way, shape or form am I suggesting to anyone that these casinos are safe or good to play at.
