I must really suck...I keep reading some many great things about 3 dice..I have tried them several times and then uninstall them, because I lose so badly..I just reinstalled them for the 4th time! I went through 300.00 and nothing!! I bet between .90 and 1.25 per spin...I don't even get any play time. Just constant .12, .48, .60 cent hits...

I am trying to decide if I am crazy enough to try one more time!!!...

Thanks for letting me vent....

You're playing over your head for a $300 bankroll, IMO. $1 per spin, if you get on a bad run can only be a few hundred spins. Variance will eat that right up. Whatever my starting bankroll is, I normally divide that by 1000 and that will be my max bet, unless I get super hot and get well ahead, then I have a different strategy. I wouldn't go to a land based casino with only $300 and bet on the $1 slots either.

I've been in the camp hollering that the slot play has changed over the past couple years and things are tighter. Lately, I've begun to wonder if maybe the RTP is the same but the variance has gone much higher. If you have high variance, a few hundred spins is nothing and if that's all your bankroll buys you're not gonna have money left when the variance rolls back in your favor. ;)

It seems if your play is real bad, it is real bad but when you finally start hitting it seems you can hit on almost anything you play there. I had a real bad run and was getting real frustrated but when it finally broke loose I won quite a bit. Good luck to you whatever you choose to do!

Okay, I have to say this. This is what becomes of players, especially newbies that come to a forum where some members have discouraged many a good rant on player return.
When a mix of players are voicing their experiences, some, even many, will not always have good ones. But if all you read is just positives and players think hey, I can win there, sounds like everybody does and away they go, lose their money and think they have been shilled.
Now I'm not saying posters need to set fire to any casino, but their needs to be balance in opinions, experiences and views.
Afterall, it is gambling and some players need to see that there is not one place good or bad that you will always or even often win. It is the way it is.
This is reality and having discouraged good rants on the flip side of the coin, does not do justice to an unseasoned player.
And for my thorn in my side ;), a rant will not make the US think that online gaming is a train wreck waiting to happen, they could care less if people are winning or losing, their bottom line will be decided by how much money they can make on this venture.

With that, I will say, I have tried 3D many times, my biggest dissapointment was the constant freezing and crashing, then my lack of success on my personal return.
RTG, in my opinion is the one software that shows no mercy what so ever to many players, chews you up and spits you out and sits back laughing, knowing you will stupidly come back for another round of being digested.

So, there needs to be balance!!!!!

I've deposited more than once at 3Dice (many more than one) and have NEVER cashed out. I uninstalled and never looked back. I have some brutal sessions with Rival but then mysteriously I'll have a couple good ones, be up, and start the whole process over again....one might say I'm masochistic:D

Oh yeah, totally forgot about Rival since I don't play there either, another brutal software for many a player. Like the games, but..........
Gonna have to look up that word, masochistic????:p

I joined 3dice to check it out this week.
The games were OK, but I have to admit for sheer variety I enjoy RTG a lot more. It also kind of bugged me that you can't change denominations on slots, at least not that I could find. If there is a place to do it and I just couldn't find it let me know!
I think the big pull for many here are the tourneys and the chat and of course the CS.
*SIGH* I really miss Microgaming, just gonna continue waiting and see what shakes down in the US.

Yeah Rock you can change the bet size but it's pretty limited. I was thinking denominations like 1 cent, 5 cents, 10 cent, etc., and then you can change the line bet amount. Not that I am a high roller by a long shot but the highest you can bet in the games seems to be about 9 or 10 dollars. I have only played funplay and in a tournament to get a feel for the place so maybe it is different in real money mode.

RedAndi, if you want your slot limits increased beyond the $4.50 to $15.00 that are max bet on the slot games, email 3Dice and request it. At one point (not sure if it is still there) they had a notice about just that. Think it is ditto for the table games.

I play a lot of tourneys at 3Dice, and I can lose a starting balance of $2500 at max bet in less than an hour sometimes. That would be ME sick, but everyone is different, and different budgets.

I've been up $7K or $10K in a few minutes too, but for real play 7 or 8 minutes would not make me happy.

I haven't met an online casino more responsive to players than 3Dice, so if you need higher limits for your play, or your occasional play, just ask them and I'm sure they will work with you.

But the high variance slots can suck you dry quickly, so my advice would be to just up your bets when ahead, and keep a cashout goal in mind.

Heck, that's good advice, I should write that down;)

Lol Jas.

Thank you for the advice. I have yet to deposit (tried but the visa gift card thing I had been using isn't working at onlines anymore) but I probably will in the future. I likely would not need to do the increase either as I am a pretty low roller, I just thought about it when doing the funplay and T's.

BTW, is there a way to close the chat completely? I shut it last night, then logged off a few hours later from casino. This morning I realized I had been logged into chat all night. I thought once you X'd it you closed it for good.

Thanks!

Since I can never get my credit card to work with the site, I tried free mode today.

Holy crap, was the dealer getting it all (was playing table games) and I never hit anything either on the slots.

Makes me glad my credit card deposit didn't work. $500 in free play money went through in less than a half hour lololol
