Maple Casino - New eCOGRA ID rules

    Hi there folks,

I've been playing MG casinos for quite some time now, up until last week I was never asked for form of ID. Only for Rival and RTG.

I currently have a pending withdrawal with Maple, they sent me an email requesting I send in The information part of my driving license or passport and a recent utility bill.

Plus They require that I sign and scan a declaration that the card I last deposited with was mine.

They stated that this is new rules by eCOGRA.

It ain't a big problem was just curious has anyone else been asked for this info by Maple.

    Just curious.

    Thanks again folks,
    Mannie

These are not NEW rules, they have been around for some time. Casinos are expected to verify the age and identity of players. The card declaration form is to discourage fraudsters, and more particularly "sore losers" who pretend their card was stolen and try to get their deposits back using a "chargeback". The card image shows that the player has the card used, not just the information (which may have been stolen through "phishing").

Was just curious as I had never been asked previoulsy in any other MG casino.

    It makes sense though.

Do people really do chargebacks if they lose lol That's crazy.

    Thanks Again vinylweatherman,
    Mannie
