What does (for example) "3 to a straight flush" mean. Does this mean 3 suited, linked cards, to a full, straight flush?

3 to a straight flush means that the 3 cards in question would/could make a straight flush if you keep them and draw the other 2 cards needed. The held cards need not be consecutive
Example: 2, 4, 6 (all one suit)
Example: 2, 3, 4 (all one suit)
Both examples fit the description of '3 to a straight flush'
