What if the Virtual Casino Group has been sold?

There has been a lot of discussion regarding the motives of Virtual paying out past players. Without derailing the thread by Marty, I wanted to start a new thread.

Some people think that Virtual might have been sold. What is the value in a casino group that has such a bad reputation? Would it have enough value based on current players, websites already set up, etc. to attempt a clean slate? Or would it be cheaper to start from scratch and be rid of the name?

I have no idea what the initial costs would be to start a RTG casino. Perhaps someone could enlighten me…

That could have happened, but I can't imagine the price.

They are probably just running out of unsuspecting players, decided to invest some of the stolen players winnings back in good faith, build a false sense of security, there are always bonus players that will go back to the dark side once seeing players getting paid.

They haven't been sold - nor is there any plan (afaik) of it being sold. It's the same operators.

The motivation of taking care of players is simply to be in a better light so that more affs will join Gambling Wages. It mainly has to do with marketing. That's all.

I don't think Virtual could afford it anyway, how much would YOU charge to take the operation off their hands

Call a spade a spade - that has to be the motive, and there has to be a limit to how much they are prepared to pay to "buy off" all those affiliates that have the entire group rogued, and refuse to send any players to them.

Players owed money should take up Marty's offer whilst it still stands, because if EVERYBODY ever ripped off by this lot put in a claim, Virtual would go bust, and would pull out of this incentive long before that happened, and try something else.

Whilst players might be tempted with massive 1000% (or even 911%) bonuses, AFFILIATES will be tempted by lavish 50%+ commission rates (until they find out much later that they are getting screwed by some fine print they failed to notice, or some retroactive changes, such as those snuck in at the end of last year).

Affiliates never get anywhere because they pay for these bonuses and manager credits which tend to outweigh deposits by a large margin.
