    microgaming tournament winners?

If you so happen to be lucky and win something on one of the microgaming tournaments how soon after the tournament completes to get your prize and how do you get it as a bonus or ?? Do you get your prize instantly after the game ends? Can any one tell me if they ever won on a tournament if so for how much?

I've won a couple tournaments.... in MG software even :)

    Hello Vilma1,

Yes, I've taken first place in a very lucky run of Thunderstruck free roll.

The prize was 60$ for first place (200 prize pool i think) and the money was awarded in the Cash account.

You shouldn't have to claim the prize money, it is instantly accreditted on tournament results completion.

    Something else important to note;
tournaments from MG sites do NOT accept bonus credits.
Entries, as well as rebuys, only allow purchases for participation with cash.

As a result, freeroll or not, all buyins are cash (freeroll is a cost of 0 USD)
therefore all prizes are awarded as cash.

Something I would be wary of though.
If you have a bonus (say 50 bonus and 20 cash) and play in a 20$ tournament say. Your balance is now 50 bonus and you play other slot games after your tournament play is over; you might lose and have like a 5$ balance.

If you then win in the tourny for 100$, your balance would probably look like 50 bonus, 55 cash using the standard bonus policies most MG casinos have to offer.

In short, prize is most likely cash. If you have an unusal situation with some incomplete bonus amount and zero cash account after tournament play, you mean see some of your winnings replace the lost bonus balance.

As always, bonus stuff goes away when you zero out or forfeit bonus and cash out, so if that scenario happens you could always work around it before prizes are awarded!

    Cheers
    ~ Brandon

From 30 minutes after the close for many, since the system automatically credits prizes.

Prizes from "free" tournaments are often bonus money, but prizes for the big ones, such as the weekender, where you have to pay a fair bit, are cash, which can be immediatelly withdrawn.

Some prizes may have to be credited manually, in which case this may take until the next day.

I have won $5000 on the weekender in the past, and I was able to withdraw it the next day as cash.
