    Betfairs Zero Roulette

Zero Roulette is no longer available in the instant play casino, it now has a new home in Betfairs download casino. However, there is a catch to it: playing for fun is NOT identical to real-mode.

When you play in fun mode, all goes well. You can play as long as you will want to and at a quick pace if you select the fast play option. In this condition there is no house edge and this entices players into playing the game.

So, you decide to deposit money and play for real money. And, surprise, surprise: playing for real money is operated differently than playing in fun mode and makes it almost impossible to profit long term from it!

You can't spin the roulette wheel by pressing the "Spin" button, because there is NO spinbutton to start the roulette. The roulette spins automatically every 25 seconds and, after an hour the games stops automatically! The game is over and ready for a fresh start (if you want to play longer).

In this way the house advantage is recuperated, because in this condition, playing on a wheel that doesn´t have a 0 pocket, does NOT give you better odds at all. Also: the table limits in funmode don't match the real money version. That's how Betfair makes money on a zero edge table.

I don't see how those rules would alter the house edge, it just makes play more slow and less interesting. You cannot profit from a 0% house edge game and neither can casino so the bolded part in your post contradicts itself.

Hiya: Any time a table game is being ran differently, or has different payouts or rules, than play for real mode, you need to stop, withdraw all money in the casino, and delete it from your pc.

    Amen!

gdbruyck, I'd suggest you to try BetVoyager Casino. They have Randomness Control, and many types of Roulettes: No Zero, Multiball Roulette and Roulette Express love2winalot can also tell you how is it to play with No House Edge

Wrong. Why should the size of the bankroll matter?

    Session Management

Some strategies for roulette are based on the ability to stay in the money "long enough" for the "turn of luck" to appear. Minimizing losses and maximizing wins require that you play through losing streaks, lasting more than one hour. But at Betfairs zero roulette you can't play as long as you want.
The goal of session management is to give us a chance to win by having enough funds to ride through the losing periods.

But they probably have a smaller bankroll than all players bankrolls combined so by this same logic they should go bankrupt? In reality: The size of bankroll doesn't affect house edge at all.

Betvoyager withholds 10% of net winnings on zero house edge games and I have understood that past losses on these zero house edge games don't even count when calculating the net win. So the OP is better off playing at Betfair.

That is just some "system" based on Gambler's fallacy which in reality doesn't work. Believe me if it did, then all casinos would have been bankrupt long time ago.

Ok, but why then does Betfair limit the session duration? The session ends after one hour, this is, after plus-minus 140 spins.

During a withdrawal of funds from the gambling portal to third-party payments systems, a 10% house fee will be taken from the player's net winnings. There is no house fee on winnings from casino games that do not offer equal odds. Players can gamble for a long time on equal odds casino games and rake free poker, or make sports bets without any house fee. The house fee will only be charged on a withdrawal of net winnings.

During a withdrawal of funds, first the sum of the deposit is returned, and then the winnings, from which a house fee will be taken.

Example: a player makes a €100 deposit, wins €50 and then requests a withdrawal of €120. Under this scenario, the net winnings exceed the deposit by €20, i.e. a 10% house fee equals €2.

    Roulette machines

Roulette machines are not the same as a roulette wheel in a casino and are not as random as they seem to be. They have an electronic number generator in them. Every number in these machines is allocated a probability occurrence and the apparently random appearance of numbers actually follows a definite pattern. Unlike real table roulette in a casino where a number is never guaranteed to be drawn, computer generated roulette has to provide a balance of numbers so that over a large number of spins each number would have been drawn roughly the same number of times (within a few percent). This percentage is called the 'realistic waiver' which is supposed to add realism to computer generated roulette. So numbers are not really random and there is a definite pattern to them.
