Typical RTG Session for Me (With Bonus)

Well, with all the uproar re: RTG, I decided to really track a whole session from start to finish, using a coupon, to see if I could make playthrough, time playing, etc. It was actually when JustPlay asked me how I do it, that I got the idea. It may not really say alot, but it's some real data on how the slots play for me personally.

I took the Reel Ladies coupon (75%) at Inetbet. And let me say I'm not really a fan of these particular coupons, as you are limited to about half a dozen games that you can play. Playthrough was 20X, and I made a whopping $16 deposit...so my starting balance was $28, and my playthrough was $560.

The first number is # of spins til next feature, second # is the dollar result of the feature.

I'm tired right now, and still have to eat dinner, so I will finish it off tonight or tomorrow. But this is a pretty typical session for me, maybe a third of the time. Many other times I would have busted out by now, and then there is the occasional time when I get a really good hit early on, up my bet, and get lucky enough to clear WR and cashout.

I realize this isn't everyone's type of play, not at all. I remember Simmo once saying that he prefers to make a large deposit, and take some spins at max bet...if he hits, super, he cashes out. If he busts, he'll try again another day. And I expect alot of people play like that as well.

I actually enjoy the challenge of trying to beat the bonus. But it IS a grind, and if you don't have the patience, or the time, to sit and play minimum bets for hours....then it's not for you.

Anyway, $70 balance with a PT of $240...we'll see what happens. All it takes is one decent hit. If only I could go play Mystic Dragon, or Paydirt, lol.

Oh, and one other thing.....someone commented in another thread that players shouldn't have to track their own wagering. I agree, they shouldn't..if the counters are working correctly. But there have been many threads over the years where that is not the case, and not just with RTG, but also with MG. So I still maintain it's the wise thing to do. I always track my spins...although not to the level I did today of recording bonus rounds, etc. But I do count up my spins after I leave each game, and check my calculations against playthrough showing in the cashier, just to be safe. JMO.

Considering the fact that you started this game session with a balance of $39.06 and you say you made 160 spins at 0.25 cents which would have been $40.00 and you only had $39.06?

I started with $39.06 when I went to Mayan Queen. It took me 160 spins to get the free spins the first time, and they paid $27.95. Can't remember what my balance was down to when I finally hit them..but I know that bonus round took me over the $50 mark...so I'm guessing I was at about $24 when I hit. So no, I wasn't counting any "line wins" into the equation. 160 spins is $40 worth of wagers, but I only spent about $15 of my starting balance to get there.

When I started again, I had a playthrough left of $240.20. I now have a playthrough left of $100.40, and a balance of $91.02. I have played through all the allowed games, so will have to go back and try either Mayan Queen, or Cleopatra again. But I'm pretty sure I'll come close to playthrough..whether there is anything left when I do, I guess we'll see.

I promise to also post in this thread, when I make a deposit and bust out quickly, because it does happen to me as well.

I know it's a major pain in the ass, but I would love to see anyone else add their playing experiences here as well. Even if they don't want to go through this bull...after a session, see if you can contact support at whichever casino you play at...and ask them for your "session stats". Starting balance (with or without bonus), # of spins, average bet size, your RTP, and whether you made playthrough or not, and cashed out or not. Could be interesting.

Anyway, will probably finish this up tonight one way or another...and will update when I'm done.

Sometimes I think the turbo feature hits better things on some games. But I have no scientific proof or expertise in the matter!

Okay, final one. I met playthrough and cashed out $100. Had I been playing a different coupon, with more games available, I may have carried on tomorrow with it. But once I finally hit that $100 mark, I'd had enough.

So, that's it. I don't think I will ever take one of these coupons again....besides Mayan Queen, I just don't normally play any of these games, and don't like being tied into 6 or so games only.

But I just hope that some people can see why I say that for me personally (JUST myself), I have no problem with RTG software. I usually always feel like I get a fair game. I could have easily busted tonight....was down to just over $30, when I hit the bonus round for $58. So it could have gone either way. And had I busted, I wouldn't have been upset.

All4greed...very seldom do I use autoplay, and I have never used the Turbo feature. I don't play that often, but when I do, I prefer to savour (for lack of a better word) it. And you can see by my play style, why I usually only play once a week, lol. I don't have the time to sit for four or five hours every day grinding out WR. But I do also play without bonuses, although I don't generally do as well without them. Again, I still think the more spins you allow yourself, the better your chance to get a decent hit. JMO.
