Each challenge has a prize associated with it. VIP tourneys have exactly one prize (most of the time).
If you average 12 challenges per hunt, at an average of 5 TC's per prize, plus a $10 prize, that is $70 in value being handed out for nothing but a few clicks.
I know it may sound like a trivial amount, but add it up.
$70 in value at 3 hunts/week: $210 in value.
$240 in value on a VIP hunt (2 hours, 24 challenges, $10/10TC value each)

$310 in value being handed out each week from just hunts.
$310 x 52 = $16,120 in free money and tourney credits being handed out per year for the hunts.
Is $2,100 in missed tourneys (one tourney per hunt [2 in VIP hunts], 5 tourneys total) really something to complain about when the casino basically hands over $16,000+ of free credits per year? I realize most of it may be TC's, but still... One tourney per hunt isn't really all that much to be screaming over (lack of a better word other than crying/whining/moaning/bitching/etc.).
Think of when the chat parties were happening. Those EASILY cost the casino as much as 6-8 TIMES what Mona gives away. Those stopped because some players just could not grasp the concept that if you are given something for free, not to take advantage of it, on top of all the whining and moaning that had to be dealt with.
I don't personally believe that giving up one tourney per hunt is something to get all worked up about. Find something else to do for the hour. Watch some TV. Read a book. Exercise.
My personal opinion. Agree or disagree, it's your choice. I know we all need to vent, but $10 isn't worth going off on someone over.
