I noticed that too, but some people just want it more ! I usually play the all games tourney and can place no problem, but its too much of a grind to maintain it. hehe i get the feeling the others that place are roulette players too.

What a you guys been drinkin, whine? I went to check the completed VIP tourneys and stopped at 64, (including a sponsored tourney that paid the top 3 places - I counted the 3 in the money as 1 win each) about half the listing

msfilly and zap won 4 each

fullyclothed and uhdunno each won 3

poohbear164, darmento, Cristian, louiseff, MattnMena, flopfreddy, lustylynn, & Sapphire each won 2

35 others each won 1, including me

Of the multiple winners I think most would agree that these players invest a lot (read every waking moment, practically) of time playng tourneys @ 3Dice

And, yes, of the 6 posters to this thread, so far, none were winners in that sample, I am sorry to say - lay off the sauce, whydoncha!?

I never liked the gap in VIP tourneys to make way for the chat hunts. Back when Enzo was just a keno runner at Caesars, b4 the sex change, (jk), I could unnerstan why Mona/Trollet blacked out VIP tourneys when the average number of players in chat numbered about 30-40.

I will email Enzo to suggest that Mona's chat hunts no longer want for lack of entrants and would he consider, at least temporarily, not cutting VIP tourneys during chat hunts. I'll do that now and I would recommend that others who feel that they might posses a similar level greed to mine and an over-inflated sense of self-importance do the same, asap.

I don't like any chat quiz trivs - whatever - cuz yall type much faster n me - I'd prefer members who wanna MC their own versions of the Gong Show come up with casino based extracurricular games. Or pass out ball peen hammers for everyone who types faster n me to bash their typing fingers at least til they slow to my level.

I win something in about every third or so VIP hunt. Maybe twice in the same hunt once. In the free hunts, way back when, I think I was benched twice. For those who finally get lucky one hunt, cutting em off with one win aint cool since it could be months before they draw the long hunt straw, again. Just an opinion.

Peep's Aztec is effed up? That sucks!

There are two reasons the same people win a lot of the tournaments. I win a fair few, because I play a lot of them but also because a lot of people in them play far from optimal strategy and then of course have a smaller chance of winning.

It's kind of a shame people weren't limited to how many they can win each day/week/month.
I'm a fan of 3Dice but not the tourneys. The last one I played - about a year ago I think - I made the comment in chat that the same people play every tourney it seems. "The same people come here and whine about it" was the response. For some people, its their life.

So you're saying that 12 people won half of the last 64 tournaments? How many people do you think are playing? I'm told anywhere from 50 to 100. And these are just the stats from the last week.

I know people who have never won anything in a vip or free hunt. And since I am no longer able to use 3dice chat the hunt and all chat based games are useless to me. And I still don't agree that this chat based hunt game should take away from the vip tournaments listed.

I'm not the only person asking these questions. I'm just the one asking them out loud.

What is the optimal strategy when playing a slot game starting with 2500 dollars for one hour?

When someone makes a complaint that people don't like they call it whining.
When someone makes a complaint that people agree with they call it discussing a problem.

It depends a bit. If it's peak balance and no gamble then there isn't much to do except start early, play max bet and keep spinning, but you would be surprised how many fail at just that.

If it's just highest balance then there is also the choice of when to keep playing and when to wait, a lot of people do bad choices here. Mostly comes from experience and knowing the games and what scores are likely to be enough to win. Another thing is once you have a good score and sit on it to update often so you can start playing in case someone passes you.

I think another big factor is timezone, the more people playing the smaller the chance of winning so if all you do is play a few tournaments during prime time it's hard to win.

Of course the smart players edge is also a lot bigger in most table game tournaments where many people play far from perfect strategy.

Regardless of how you play a slot game, if you don't win more than your opponents you lose the tournament. If I (And others) can spin from start to finish and never see a free spin that pays more than 10x my wager and regular spins that lose more often than they win then I go broke. You cannot win if you're broke. (Unless the object is to reach zero and no matter how often I ask they refuse to have that tournament.)
