Can someone please explain this to me?

I deposited $150 into Slots Oasis, they gave me a $600 (400%) bonus. I have to play 20x play through which is $15,000 (i know, it will never happen....but just in case it actually does, can someone explain what this condition means?

"This is a Play Bonus - the bonus credits are for wagering purpose only, and only winnings from the bonus (and not the bonus itself) may be cashed out. At the time of a cashout the amount of the bonus will be deducted from the balance."

does this mean that even after i've completed my 20x "play through", that they will deduct the $600 bonus that they originally gave me from my winnings if I ever try to withdraw any money?

    thanks in advance!

yup, thats what it means, you might be on exactly 700 dollar when you finally make playthrough, then it wont be advisable to withdraw, because after the 600 reduction, youll have 100 which is less then your original deposit
seriously, those bonuses are doable if you mix it it up with the betting, ive managed to make them lots of times, and im a very impatient gambler.
but youll need to watch out before hitting the cashout button thats all, be sure you made playthrough, if your not 100% go to live chat and ask the operator where you stand. then if you did make playthrough and are even or better id consider cashing out, if youre in the minus i;'d go for the win still:
but although i like certain bonuses, i normally always try to do wiyhout deposit bonus, unless i can only deposit something under 50 credits, you 150 is more then enough to hit something imo, and if that happens, you wont be bothered by the playthrough!
    cheers

yes! your winnings will only be anything above that bonus. I always thought these were silly til I found out some casinos allow you to play progressives with it! It definitely makes $5 a spin feel like nothing. Check the terms to be safe!

Hehe, you should have asked this question before you deposited as you are now bound by the wagering requirements. You cannot withdraw anything untill you have wagered $15K on the allowed games and as incrediblestuff said the $600 will be deducted when you initiate a withdrawal.

These play bonuses will give you more playtime but if you bet very low the variance inevitably eats up your balance so you should bet a bit bigger than usual in the hope of a good hit and then try to clear the WRs. I understand that Slots Oasis should allow wagering on other games once WRs are met so in case you have $700 or less left then you can bet big on even-money games in the hope of a getting at least a reasonable return on your deposit. After deduction of the play bonus there wouldnt have been much left anyway so why not go for it? Good Luck!

    thanks for your answers.

I knew getting into it that it would take a LONG time to play through that amount, i just wasn't clear on whether they would still deduct the bonus money after that.

Oh well, I guess I'll look at it like they are giving me 600 (a buck a spin) more chances at winning the big one.

It's definitely given me $150 worth of entertainment, if nothing else.

If you are going to deposit for bonuses, make sure you know exactly what you get into BEFORE depositing! Nothing worse than finding out you just committed yourself to something that might not be doable.

Always read the terms and conditions and if something doesn't make sense, contact the casino support. AND if that doesn't make sense, then ask here.

Most people here have been through every bonus imaginable. Good luck with your wagering...

incrediblestuff's point is the one to keep in mind in the future in my opinion - your $150 was enough to win on with no wagering requirements and without any restrictions on which games you play. A fair bonus is a 100% or greater deposit match with a 20X(deposit + bonus) or less WR. Good luck and welcome to CasinoMeister! Hope to see some winnng screenshots from you, soon.

but once I've played through my 20X play through I'm then allowed to play any of the games right? (only allowed to play slots for the 400% bonus)

say I have $300 left after the 20X play through and then I start playing Blackjack and if by some miracle I manage to bring that $300 up to $1000, then If I cash out I would get $400 ($1000 minus my $600 bonus money) wouldn't I?

They wouldn't disqualify all my winnings for playing blackjack even after i've played through my 20x would they?

    Thanks again in advance

I don't know about Vanguard specifically, but I have taken a couple of these large RTG phantom bonuses. That bonus stays showing in your account as bonus funds, and therefore the bonus is active until you withdraw, and it is zeroed out. Cashout when and if you meet the WR and have more than your bonus and deposit left. Wait until you have that withdrawal before making another deposit; I think most RTG cashiers will not let you make a deposit, only reverse funds if a withdrawal is pending.

I think Kakata gave you sound advice. If you want to be paid, err on the side of caution.
