    Is this right?

This weekend I played a free chip at a casino and won. So I requested the max cashout of $250.00. They refused to flush the withdrawal, so I was a little suspect. This morning I get an email requesting the following:
Please note that – FOR YOUR FIRST WITHDRAWAL – we will need you to submit documentation to enable us to spend your money to you. The required documents are in line with legislation to prevent money laundering and safeguard you (and us) against possible acts of fraud. These documents (to be faxed or emailed to us) are:

    • ID Document
    • Front and Back copies of your credit card
    • Copy of a recent utilities bill (such as a telephone or electricity bill)
Now keep in mind. This was a NO DEPOSIT bonus win. ID sure. But do I really need to provide them with my Credit Card info when I have not deposited???

And money laundering? How could I have possibly laundered money that was never there in the first place??

    Looking forward to you input

yeah I think its their cookie cutter email for withdrawals. I will send the other stuff but say no to the credit card details as it is not relevant in any way.

Free is not always free Do you suppose some peeps send in their credit card info and later regret it? Why do they ask for it if no CC was used to get a "free" chip? Please let us know if you receive the WD without givving them CC info

    Why snail mail?

If you don't have a scanner or a digital camera to attach images to an email, what about a fax?

    Besides your sending copies anyway.

I'm sure the local post office or a friend has a fax.

    Cheers

At this stage the casino only knows you as customer X. You need to prove who you are; your name; address; and your D.O.B matches your casino account.

Otherwise some peeps would be claiming free chips, winning and cashing out under bogus names and repeating the process again and again.

    Cheers

    credit card

When I won from a free chip at Grande Vegas, they required a credit card but they stated that one should blank out the security code on the back and the middle numbers on the front.
