Won at aladdins and can't make deposits..

I recently played at Aladdin's Gold Casino and won $6,000.00...It was awesome. You can only withdraw $3000.00 at a time. So I put in for my withdrawl. After a week or so of sending in paperwork and phone confirmation they said everything was fine and I would have my money in 48 hours. Well it has now been 9 days and nothing. In the meantime, I have played through the other $3,000.00 (of which I was planning on withdrawing $2,000.00 of it). I really think they delay the withdrawls, knowing the temptation to continue playing...
Anyone else play at Aladdins Gold??
Also, my bank is stopping me from making deposits to my quicktender account (usemy wallet). They say it is a blocked country, which it is not. So now I don't know how to make deposits...Any suggestions..

Thank you good suggestion. Where do you buy prepaid cards?
I just found out the reason they are being denied is because the last few times I tried to use my quicktend (usemywallet) it showed as coming out of United Arab!!! They are supposedly out of the UK and I never had problems before..I wonder if anyone else is having a issue???

Banks have probably figured out that transactions going to the UAE are cloaked gambling transactions. UAE itself should not be a forbidden country, as the US gets most of it's oil from there, and they wouldn't want to insult them and have them cut the supply. The UAE are also against gambling (Islamic laws), so they would NOT be offended by attempts to stop such transactions, indeed, they may even be cooperating because they don't want to see their states being used to cloak such transactions.

You would need to find a deposit method that appears to come from a more usual country, maybe the EU, or even Israel.

Banks are doing this ahead of UIGEA, because they want to have everything in place by June 1st, so they can be seen to be complying with the law.

You will have to hope things change in the US, and at least the $3000 you are expecting should refloat your QT account.

The delay itself may be similar to that explained by Nicholas Johnson in the Vegas Regal thread, the MC/VISA crackdown has set of ripples throughout the industry, and it is also having an effect on bank transfers, including payments to QT. Funds are not where they need to be, and some payments have become jammed in the system, and are having to be retrieved and rerouted.

The US player should seriously consider taking a break before June 1st, or at least playing with money that they already have in QT, and will not need to bring back home in the near future. It is the path between the US and abroad that has been outlawed by UIGEA, and funds used for gambing are not supposed to cross the electronic or physical border.

    Question

VW, can you tell us (me) exactly what will be different as of June 1st?

I know I can probably go look this up on site, but if you have a simple breakdown that would be cool. If not, go ahead and tell me not to be so lazy and look it up myself!

    Thanks~RedAndi

Specific to US players. UIGEA regulations require that banks prevent any transactions related to online gambling from going through. Implementation of this was due last December, but was delayed by 6 months to June 1st 2010 because the banks argued that they needed more time to bring in systems to monitor transactions, and block the gambling related ones. In the run up, banks are tuning their systems, and players are finding that methods that worked before suddenly stop working. The banks have to tread a fine line between blocking transactions covered by UIGEA and blocking loads of perfectly valid transactions. The result is a game of cat & mouse between the authorities, and players & casinos.

The forum section "America The Beautiful" has been created where issues specific to the American market are discussed.

It is NOT just deposits being affected either, WITHDRAWALS are going to be blocked, leading to the risk that players will win, but cannot bring their winnings back home. This is why I think US players should seriously think about the impact the sudden & unexpected loss of access to their money could have.

June 1st is when the banks are expected to have all their systems in place, and live. From this date, banks are liable to prosecution for failing to implement UIGEA regulations.
