    Casino Stats

    March 3, 2010

Atlantic City casinos have had to deal with double digit revenue declines for the better part of the past two years. The economy has played a major factor in the revenue loss, and some casinos in the city simply cannot afford to keep losing revenue at the pace of the past six months.

I also read this week in the NY Post that for this year so far their down 14.9% from last year. I’m sure things can’t be much different, if not worse for online gaming.

Online casinos when compared to land based casinos, can only fight for survival with lower RTP’s and the recent offering of bonuses that to win with would be like hitting a power-ball interstate lottery, or if successful can't withdraw much cash with limits.

Hiya: Of course the economy is to blame. Tighter slots, 3/2 blackjack out 6/5 blackjack in, single 0 roulette out, 00 roulette in, Higher table Min bets required and lower max bets allowed.......None of this had anything at all with them losing money....................

Most of those changes were recent and a result of trying to recover losses. Imagine what online casinos are doing to the RTP to accomplish the same.

With my own experiences online playing video poker, and I'm talking thousands and thousands of hands, the RTP is set somewhere never witnessed by me in all the years playing online. I use to hit at least one 4 of a kind paying $750.00 at least once every session. Sometimes several a session. I have not hit one of those in over two months with the same amount of deposits if not more since my sessions are far more shorter. And last night and this morning witnessed two of my worse sessions yet. In fact I've decided to pull back significantly till things recover a bit. Back to concentrating on poker online again.

I agree. I used to hit a RF a couple times a month. Now about once in two years! Or when they do come up, you get a hand lets say, K,4,J,5,9,( all different suits) you discard it, only to find out if you kept the king , you would have got the royal.

I missed FIVE royals yesterday because they came from crappy hands like that,
that you would never keep. I have been seeing this a lot. Then the game plays like crap because it plays now like the royal was won.

I play nickle poker. $50 bucks gone in less that a half hour is normal now.
The same thing on 4oaks on the bonus poker. It will give you three kings, and two 2's.You choose the 3 kings hoping for a 4 oak, and of course two more twos come up instead. Seems to be the norm not the exception, but the one time you take the two two;s, that other king comes up. ALWAYS. Just can't win.

You can say that again. I used to deposit atleast $300 to $500 a week. Now I do $25. If I lose that, im finished! DONE! And that's for the week. I get a 100% weekly bonus from a MG. I take that offer; afterward im done. The main reason I deposit $25 there is no cheap way of cashing out. I reload my card $5 charge, I deposit QT 5% additional, withdrawal QT $30 and then my bank takes from me for incoming wire. Just not worth it any more. So I do $25 if I get lucky and win $200+ I just withdrawal to QT and play off that.
