    Questions about playthru and comps

I need some answers regarding playthru versus comp accumulation.

This is based on a particular RTG casino (not rogue). Comp points accumulate at a rate of 1 to 10 - 1 comp point for every $10 wagered. So if I accumulated 300 comp points then I would have wagered $3000.

Playthru declines at the rate of the bet so if I was betting $1 per spin it should decline at a rate of $1.

Now here's my question. If I wagered $3000 (300 comp points) should my playthru not have declined by $3000?

Depends on what games you have been playing. If you have been playing games which count as less than 100% towards wagering then you will have to wager more, to earn the same amount of comp points.

Also are you sure you didn't have any comp points rolling over from a previous session?

    Wildfire7,

I only played Real Series Slots and they count 100%. And when I started out I had 105 comp points, now I have 405 but my playthru only went down $1000+. I am pretty diligent about checking things out before I play so I did check on it.

Doesn't make sense to me and couldn't get support to help.

Have you checked on the casinos website to see if any slots are running comp promotions. Many offer things like double comps on certain slots on certain days or triple comps points for perhaps a new slot they have.

As far as I know, there is no game comp promo. I am at a loss with this. Either I am a dummy or something isn't right.

    ohh ye I remember now.
if you get a 100% bonus, comp only count for half of em, untill you reached the wagering.

You guys are gonna love this.

I did a little test on my own. Bet 10 spins @ $1 - playthru should have gone down $10. Only went down $4. So with proof in hand, went back to support and, drum roll please, there was an admin error in the way the coupon counted (that's what they said) and I had actually played thru exactly twice what they actually showed.

Now does this not make you go or what? I am not at all comfortable with this answer.

The comps are counting fine but if I hadn't caught the playthru, I never would have known. Not that I have a chance of making playthru the way the games are going.

But if it is supposed to count 1:1, you proved that it is counting your play not at 1:1, but at 2.5:1, not 2:1. That is, they are claiming that for every 2 dollars you wager, you are getting credit for having wagered $1, when in fact you appear to be getting credit for $1 after $2.5 dollars of wagering.

Perhaps they are using an RCG (A random comp point generator)!

Well, sent PM to rep with chat copy cause did not make sense to me. If I hadn't caught the error, would they? It's bad enough the games play tight, but when playthru is screwed up then you never would be able to cashout.
