Question Any math wizards in the house?

I asked this in another thread, but nobody answered...

What's the odds of having a run of 26 spins in a row on a 20 line slot without a single win?

    Thanks..

I always thought Zoozie was the ace around here as far as that stuff goes imo, tho there are some pretty smart number crunchers on board..............laurie

    Heya,

It's not possible to provide a generic answer to the question.

One would need to know the average line hit rate (average chance of achieving any win based on combination probability, assuming we're talking a typical random slot system).
The reel strip layout would also be needed, given you're talking about 20 line play.

For example, if you had these pieces of information and ran an analysis that yielded, say, a win of some form 1 in every 2 spins on 20 line play, then going 26 spins without a win is astronomical (1/(0.5^26)), or 1 in 67 million and change.
However, if the analysis yielded 1 in every 3 spins (for ease of example), then 26 spins at (1/0.6666667^26)) is 1 in 37877.
    Still highly unlikely though.

What system (casino provider) was this on?

    Woooof

    Betcha it was Rival.

Actually, I think I remember Win posting it in the Rival Wacky Wedding game thread. Am I right? And more importantly, what do I win?

It was from Rival - From the new "Wacky Wedding" game.

After 275 spins (I didn't include FS in this sample), I had 85 wins (most was 6x originating bet) which gives a win rate of 1 in 3.24 (rounded up).

Small sample, but still. Other players are reporting horrible experiences with this slot, as well.

Purely as an example then, using some form of win once every 3.24 spins, going 26 spins without a win is a 1 in 14714 shot.
    Harsh.
