I also have no driver's licence, nor a passport. Not that I want to anyway, but it is a part of the reason why I no longer play at any new casinos. I'm good to go at the few that I do play at....32Red and 3Dice have never asked me for a thing re: documents. As for Inetbet, I sent them the id I do have, including credit card and a utility bill, along with the faxback form....and I was good to go. And although I don't really play at ClubWorld too much anymore, same deal there.
I would strongly suggest that if you are going to play at a casino you have never previously played, or cashed out from...that you speak with support, or the rep here, prior to playing. Make sure that the ID you do have, will be acceptable for them.
I don't know why everyone is so flabbergasted that some of us don't drive (thus no driver's licence), nor do we have passports. I don't travel abroad either, and don't see why I should have to pay $100 plus for a piece of ID that I will most likely never use. I also think Jasminebed (also from Canada), is like me...no passport/driver's licence. It's not THAT uncommon.
I still say these ID requirments from some of these places are just off the wall and over the top, and yet another excuse to either not pay, or delay payment as long as possible. Why is it that a place like 3Dice (as a rule) doesn't require extensive ID and DNA samples? Yet other places want everything but your firstborn? These places certainly don't mind accepting those credit card deposits with no questions asked, do they?
Anyway Sparkz...get yourself pre-approved before you play. Amatrine, the
OP is in the UK and I don't believe they have a government issued picture ID, much like here in Canada. It's passport or DL, and that's it.
