After 17 years of marriage and the recent 'celebration' of my 40th birthday I discovered online gambling just this past Christmas 2003. I guess my former interests just don't captivate as much of my time these days.
As a mid life kind of thing I think online gambling is fun as hell, and if you play it right, its mostly affordable. I would like to turn my wife onto the online scene but to date I hide in the shadows and play while she's away. We work different shifts, and given that I make nearly 75% of our gross pay I'm able to cover my rear, but the thought of turning her loose with a 900 number and a smile sends shivers down my spine.
We both enjoy state lottery and brick and mortar (in fact, she's the one who turned me onto land based gaming places) but after financing her blowing through hundreds of dollars while I relax with a few beers at the casino bar leaves me with great fear. How do you manage finances like that when both of you are players? Especially home players?
In closing...
What I asked you isnt none of my business. But, given that you and your hubby worked it out and didnt break the bank, is their any tips you can offer to me to keep the peace, play the games, distribute gameplay equitably and have fun without the worst happening?
