Help!! Downloading RTG games

Some time back one of you gave me some instructions on how to get RTG games to download. I wrote the instructions down and then cleaned house and lost them. It was something about letting the casino games download fail and then go in an allow the site but I can't remember exactly.

Here's my problem. The casino will download and some of the games will open but with some of the new ones I get a 'communication error, download failed'.

Would greatly appreciate any help with this.

If you have a firewall running, I'd strongly suggest turning it off, if this is happening all of the time. Be sure to turn it back on once the games are downloaded.

If it's an intermittent problem, more than likely there's nothing you can do about it, and will just have to try again later...

Its best to restart your computer most RTG uses Internet Explorer that is what's causing the error.

Firstly get your version of windows updated. Then check what you have selected as the default browser. By default microsofts internet explorer will be the associated browser for software updates. So if you have firefox set as default this could cause a conflict. Also turn off any download managers you may have on your system.

I've used Firefox as my default browser alongside of RTG casinos for ages now and have never had an issue such as this.
