150 Reason why Rival can KMA

Ok so I decided to give Rival 1 last try. I deposited $150 and went to play Scary Rich 2. I set it on 300 spins at .60 spins. After 300 spins this is my balance.

No Bonus Round, Nothing. I know I know Bad luck, High Risk Slot. KMA RIVAL! I AM SO THRU WITH YOU!

I've been doing pretty good with a 15-line feature slots called True Love (Playtech). Yes, I know what you're thinking, a man playing that but hey, it's the only one I actually win something at

Bonus rounds come surprisingly often (either that or I'm very lucky) and when it does drop there's a reasonable chance for another 15 free spins using the 3x multiplier.

That is totally ridiculous. Although it's a small sample....damn....

I know SR2 is high variance, but c'mon...~18% RTP?

What does a 20 line Rival slot have to do with a 15 line Playtech slot?

...especially when the OP doesn't have the option of playing at any Playtech casinos...

No idea, was suggesting the poster to try it instead, maybe he gets lucky there. Or was this a test you guys are doing on Rival; sorry if that's the case.

Maybe, at .40/spin, the outcome would have been entirely different.

What I don't understand is, instead of throwing you're money away, stubbornly, on repeated .60 wagers on a high-variance slot, why, after 3 or 4 spins, didn't you try decreasing your wager to .40 or increasing it to .80? The number of coins wagered can affect the outcome, enormously. Or, after a few dollars wagered and lost on Scary Rich II, why not just move on to the other slots they offer? You've proven nothing by wagering with such tunnel vision and have only illustrated that you've squandered $150.00, not because Rival stinks, but because you neglected to diversify which, as any junior investment manager can tell you, is crucial for avoiding exactly the kind of loss you have described.

If I had deposited $150 and set my strategy at $0.60 bets, I would have bet $20, $50 tops for a loss, and then moved on to SR1 or one of the i-slots. Rinse, repeat. I just gone done playing SR2 on Sloto, third spin, 13 free spins! $15 or $20 on $0.20 bets.

Unfortunately we here in the US are not accepted at many online casio platforms like Playtech, Wagerworks and so on.

A very good point Bernynhel and very good advice for those that find their cash disappearing fast on one game.

I think we all accept that Rival slots are 'streaky', so if it doesnt look like its gonna pay its a good idea to try something else. I set mine for 50 spins, and move on if I get nothing.

    Just my experience

I don't go by the X number of spin rules...

I usually stay on a slot until I'm ~50x or so down, overall. Then I'll move to a new game.

So say I'm betting .20/spin...I'll move once I lose $10 or so from the balance that I had when I started playing that particular slot.

My logic is that most of the time you'll never hit a 50x bonus or line win to recoup your losses, so it's probably -ev to continue playing that slot. I might go back to it after awhile, but not any time soon.

Does that make any sense? Or are my efforts futile?
