Where Are The Usual Christmas/Holiday Bonuses?

This has been the worse Christmas for VIP no-deposit bonuses.

I have not received one Christmas or Holiday Bonus, only the usual Deposit Bonus Offers. I use to receive gifts in the mail or at the very least a bonus added to my account from nearly all Casino Groups, this year, NADDA!

Anyone recieving anything? Please post here.

I was wondering the same thing..Club World is at the top of the list so far with the $100 free. It is the thought that you aren't just an "account" to be handled or ignored. I deposit mainly at Slotocash but the funny thing is Dendera keeps giving me the $30 free Christmas bonus along with Tropicas' $20. No I haven't received anything of particular interest either. Mainly a lot of deposit match bonuses.

There are two ways you could look at this. Firstly we are consumers who are spending money as entertainment in the leisure industry. For instance if you went to the same cinema or bar every week, you wouldn't expect anything at Christmas. So perhaps any offer granted to its customers should be welcomed, no matter how meager it seems.

Secondly you could view the lack of Christmas rewards down to market forces, there is a global recession going on after all. Consumers are spending less on entertainment, therefore less profits for the casino as well as much stiffer competition.

Finally casinos may be wary of giving all their customers a small freebie because they could be accussed of being stingy, so its better to give nothing than to give a small amount that could offend the player. (A recent thread on this forum discussed this very issue)

I came to the conclusion a while ago that most of the casinos I have joined over the years are actually very poor in maintaining any form of player incentive. These days I play at the casinos that I know really value my custom. This is not to say i expect freebies, presents, gifts whatever all the time, but when it happens THESE are the casinos that i REMEMBER and THESE are the casinos i will choose to spend my hard earned money with. As a result of this new policy of mine, there are really only a very small collection of casinos now that I would like to think will acknowledge my loyalty and custom over the year and I for one will be dissapointed if my fav couple of casinos fail to do this. So far I have received the 100 from club world and 20 from Titan, 30 from inetbet but as yet nothing from my number one favourite. As for MG, i have pretty much given up on them, for me they have been dead for a long time and the RTG casinos are infinately more generous and I feel my loyalty is much better rewarded and acknowledged with them. A total reversal to how I felt a few years ago.

Agreed. A couple of years back I wouldn't touch RTG. Fast forward to 2009 and I think the only MG I played at this year was Ladbrokes, the large majority of my play now going to RTG.
