Make sure your documents are clear before depositing!!!!!!

I have been making deposits for a while with a card that is 2 yrs old and worn. Another topic made me think "what if they cant read my card and dont want to pay me." Well i was about to make a deposit so i decided to go the route of having my documents Pre-Approved. Well the scan is not coming out good no matter how much I zoom in, and no matter which way I scan it. I didnt think I would be saying this, but "thank god i didnt hit something big." I dont have any clue how they would have been able to read the information. I probably would have had to go the route of begging them to let me mail them the physical card after I canceled it. Moral of the story is make sure that documents are legible after scanning PRIOR TO MAKING A DEPOSIT.

Another tip for those that have scanners, scan your docs as a picture, not as a document. The picture feature eliminates the problem with reading them, too dark etc. I have never had a problem with any of my docs, even the ones sent to the crappy casinos that didn't want to pay me.

All my ID Docs in a file on my desk top. Also a saved email draft to attach 'em too. I shoot it to the casinos when I register.

BMWSTACK - you try askin your card company for a replacement? You don't have to change the card if you just say you got it/still use it but its just worn out.

I always hold a war chest full of docs and already added to blank emails saved. If I go to a new casino its the first thing I do is zip over my docs to them. As a rule I never deposit until they have confirmed my docs are in order. Unless that is im hammered on vodka smabuca shots in which case I will loose anyway so documents will not be required

In my case the issues is the card is so worn that a color copy or even photograph wasnt going to work, as a matter of fact if you have the card in your hand its tough to read. Maybe a sign i should stop spending so much money. Good thing is it expires next month so i have a brand new one on the way.

Bernie...that really is very organized and a great idea. I, on the other hand, have to figure out where I put the scanned stuff on my computer

If you are worried about having this on a computer, you could always store the documents "offline", such as a flash drive, or CD.

Very thourough of bernyhel, he has left them with very little room for manouvre. The language he has used in his email contains a much higher level of English than the tripe the casinos normally send out. Hopefully they will be able to understand it, or perhaps its not written in clear enough English for them!

You can also call your bank and have them issue you a new card.

Thanks! Gmail's great cuz I'm a sloppy typist and if I accidentally hit something that would ordinarily wipe out my composition, Gmail will automatically save the draft. And it saves with attachments. If I'm doing a long post here with named URLs and uploads and alla that, I compose on my Gmail and paste here. And still hafta go back and make about 4 or 5 edits.

Well I started pre-approving a few years ago and never a hiccup about any BS at cash-in time. And I have found that there's usually someone around with a normally developed, full-sized-brain to interpret for the various casino's support personnel if they need any help with the big words.
