[strike]Be careful -played Pai Gow at Titan Casino , taking a sign-up bonus (100% +50 free- so basically, it's a deposit 20 , play with 90 usual good offer on Playtechs), then this major problem - joker is always counted as a deuce of clubs ! The fourth screenshot shows you that it's not a problem on my side - but truly a server problem as the deuce of clubs is already in the dealer's hand.

AVOID playing Pai Gow at Playtech until this is resolved.[/strike]

My fault for not reading exactly Pai Gow rules; apologies - still , jokers should not count as deuces.

(hmm, wrong section maybe -shouldn't this moved to Non-Bonus issues ?)

Hand #1 - should have been Tie rather than lose , Joker pairing Queen for win in low hand (So , i should have had my 10 bet returned , not losing it)

Hand #2 Same as hand #1 - joker should have paired for win in high , lose in low

Hand #3 It should have been Win rather than Tie - again , joker pairing Queen in low hand for win in both. (Should have been a 19.75 win , not a push)

Double-checked my balance each time - got paid what game summary says; the problems is not about being unpaid , but more about results being wrong there.

Hands 1 and 2 are pushes. The joker in hand 2 wins as a higher pair than dealer. Why isn't the Joker in hand 1? Was this the house way?

In hand 3 - Joker pairing with Queen you won, and high hand you lost as dealer is showing a flush. Correct result is a tie, not a win.

A Joker is not a pure wild card in Pai Gow. In the five-card hand the Joker can be used to complete a straight or flush if possible; otherwise it is an ace. In the two-card hand it always plays as an ace.

Whoops. I always thought that Joker was a true wild-card in Pai Gow - my apologies.

(Still, there's the problem of Jokers counted as deuces rather than Aces - it's changing nothing there ... but could be problematic in some situations)

Wildfire : It was the auto-suggested house way each time, yes

I think that the OP is confused about the way the joker works in pai-gow.

The fact that the end data is indeed mistaken also clouds the issue.

This is how the joker works, in a pai-gow poker game, as I understand it:

If used for a straight or fush, the joker will "fill-in" for the card needed to complete the hand.

For "paired" hands (pairs, trips, quads, full boats), the joker will only act as an ace.

Using these rules, it appears that you wera paid correctly, and that the data recording is a glitch in appearance only.

13 Card Poker and Pai Gow are my favourite games after regular poker, so I guess I'll just chime in with exactly what I see and should have happened on each of the screen shots, then it can be compared to what actually happened.

Hand #1:
Dealer: 10 10 9 6 2 - 7 7
Player: 8 8 10 5 2 - A Q
Result: Pair of 10s vs. pair of 8s - pair of 7s vs. A high - Dealer winner

Hand #2:
Dealer: 2 2 8 7 4 - A Q
Player: A 9 6 4 3 - K J
Result: Pair of 2s vs. A high - A high vs. K high - Dealer winner

Hand #3:
Dealer: Jc 6c 5c 3c 2c - A 5
Player: 9 9 7 5 2 - A Q
Result: Flush vs. pair of 9s - A high (5 kicker) vs. A high (Q kicker) - Push

Now looking at the replay screens, all I see is an incorrect displaying of the jokered aces, THE PAYOUTS ARE CORRECT.

Whoops. I always thought that Joker was a true wild-card in Pai Gow - my apologies.

If you had been allowed to use the joker as a pairing card in the back hand, you would have had a pair of queens on both hands #1 and 3, and they would have defeated your front hand making them invalid so you would have lost instead of pushed on the third hand. Lucky for you, it doesn't work that way ;)

Care should be taken before using the House Way when playing PG poker at Playtech. There is a bug and the Joker is not always being set correctly within the hand. I once had a joker which was used to complete a straight when it should have been a straight flush while the low hand was of the same value. On other occasions, the joker was used to complete straights when a straight already existed thus lessening the value of the low hand. I cant play now at playtech so not sure whether the bugs have been rectified yet.

Only MG paigow is bug-free imo.
