I got 4 Achilles as shown below and was only paid $1.58..Just for the hell of it ,I just checked and 4 Achilles says 2500 2500 what? I was playing 40cents per spin . Can someone explain this to me?
Heya,
Achilles is a substitute symbol, and as stated "Achilles substitutes for all other symbols except scatters"
As a normal substitute symbol it will pay from left to right on a pay line, as per normal pay line hits.
In this case, if you had lined up the 4 Achilles from reel 1 through to reel 4, on a line, it would have awarded its listed line prize.
Quite separate to this, the Achilles can appear anywhere to trigger their feature.
Note the wording difference between the 2 feature trigger statements, specifically worded to avoid the impression that Achilles is a scatter symbol.
Hope it helps
if that icon is wild then he got 5 of something on one line and other hits also if its wild?? because there blinking thats why there not showing up
and from the bottom right its five aces ??
so i think he may have two lines with five of a kind if thats a wild and it would be both aces i believe ??
its wild
Yes, it's a wild symbol.
No, the screenshot shown does not seem to indicate a line pay of 5 Aces
The symbol above Achilles on reel 4 would be a 10.
I don't know what was on reel 1, but the bottom symbol on reel 3 would have been a K, since the reel strips are in a set order.
It's confusing, but the 4 Achilles paid NOTHING for their "scatter" positioning
Yes, because they are not a scatter
, and payment was received only because they substituted for wilds, and formed winning combinations.
Yes, because they are a wild
Troy symbols ALSO trigger free spins, and pay for their "scatter" positioning.
yes, because the Troy symbol is a scatter
The layout in the rules page can make it look like both Troy and Achilles act as true "scatters", paying accordingly.
I have to disagree, one's labelled "Substitute", one's labelled "Scatter"...titles that are used across the reel series games where applicable.
The substitute statement clearly indicates that "Achilles substitutes for all symbols except scatters"
Woooof
