    Food For Thought

With so many online casinos and decent bonus offers out there, one thing that seems to be forgotten about lately is Loyalty. I have been doing a little bit of homework and taking a look at some of the most popular Casinos’ loyalty programs. I’ve noticed some worth noting but I wanted to get a player’s opinion on which ones really strike value in their guests.

    Cheers,

I like the ones that offer a managers bonus or based on a percent of what you deposited the previous month. Comp points are ok, but worthless because I myself have had so many bad runs where I am lucky to get a dollar comp point
on a 100 deposit, makes me feel ripped off. This has been standard too, as casinos have been real tight. I think it should be based on what you deposit.

The problem is that many casinos fail to publish their loyalty program in sufficient detail. First time players visit the website, click on "promotions", and see only the welcome bonus, and nothing else other than the usual comp points system. This gives the impression that once you have "done" the welcome bonus, that's it as far as bonuses are concerned, time to move on. This means that casinos have to compete by having the best welcome bonus, despite this making them a target for "bonus hunters". Casinos with an uncompetitive welcome bonus, but a fantastic UNPUBLISHED loyalty program, will fail to attract new players so readily, INCLUDING those players who ARE looking to stick around.

RTG casinos seem to have the best regular player offers, but many are rogue. Microgaming casinos tend to keep regular player offers "under wraps", so it is hard for a new player to research what they might expect for being loyal.

Casinos that have the best regular player offers tend to be those who put some thought into it, rather than just fire off the same offer every week.

Jackpot Factory is one that has regular promotions of various kinds, and has an ongoing 10% on all deposits up to varying maxima at each casino. They also run scoreboard wagering contests, lucky draws, special "by invite only" offers, and a few others. They do seem to have lost their touch recently regarding the originality of their events, there were some pretty interesting ones in the past, well worth repeating, even after a little tinkering.

Red Flush offers regular 20% deposit bonuses twice a week, and recently brought in a host of other promos to cover every day of the week. VIPs get larger bonus maxima, but these are still at 20% or 25% of deposits. I got 25% up to 1250 in bonuses for last Wednesday, and again for the weekend. I am, naturally, a VIP I am hoping for something along the lines of "Birthday Fiesta" or "Slot Survivor" soon I have great admiration for the style of the player who took out the Birthday Fiesta in the summer

I think a good loyalty program should not be too heavily focused on the high rollers, a lower roller can be just as loyal. Casinos also need to understand that because players are absent without playing for a week or so, it does not mean they are disloyal. Any loyalty programme that has realistic tier levels for the player is good because it gives the player something to aim for.

Some players never get beyond the first or second tier not because they are disloyal but because they are only making small deposits. There are that many bonuses swimming around now, that players can pick and choose, regardless of their status.

This practice of casino hopping can mean they are less likely to be interested in vip programmes, because most of them all they do is just offer even more bonuses.

Hmmm... maybe it's not that Casinos are tight, but that they want to base their programs on wagering instead of deposits because it would reward players who play more and not reward player's who just have a bigger bankroll.
I do see what you mean though as I can tell how it would look more like a casino wants to give you 1 dollar for every 1,000.00 wagered. A point program like that isn't only useless but is in fact patronizing to you, the Player.
I also looked around and see that you are very correct, most Casinos are slowly starting to realize that their Loyalty programs are crap and it's taking them time to figure out that if you don't make it interesting for the Player, then it's actually self-defeating from a marketing standpoint.
What about a program that offers interesting rewards but it's hard to accumulate points? Would that be better than a program that offered easily accrued points but only straight bonus-type rewards? Hmmmmm......

Inetbet has a great managers bonus program imo, Jackpot Capital also has a decent Vip program

3 Dice also does a loyalty thats not to bad, every 10 days theres something there.

Most of the Rivals throw in some ND's, Vegas Regal and Sloto, Tradition comes to mind

Titan Caino will put a small gift in your account if you make a deposit and lose as well as all the Club USA casinos, they have the best ND comps imo, 10 x playthru, 10 x max cashout

I deposit small but steady and recieve alot of decent comps from these casinos...............laurie

as a player who enjoys land based casinos.... in comparison, the comps for online play hasn't been worth bothering with -- especially post UIGEA, when good bonuses seemed to go the way of the dodo.

Online casinos (in general) pay far too much attention to gaining new players and too little attention to retaining players.

    I agree on all points..

I agree on this also ...casinos for some reason doesn't want LOYALTY IMO. I do not understand this.

I have not been to Borgata casino in A/C for over a year and they invited me back for this year's new years bash...with a few hundred dollar promo, rooms for 2 nights, $850 New years eve bash (comped=free). Rooms are $1600 for a 2 day weekend. I know , my sister tried to get one to visit with me and they quoted her this...

So, if online casinos decide to get real in their LOYALTY promos..maybe they will hang on to more players . What they offer now is pretty much a joke, other than the ones listed above...at least they are TRYING!

Why is it that when you achieve a certain level in some of these programs they offer you faster withdrawal times or your own personal representative? To me if you provide the necessary requirements to withdraw the processing times should always be consistent and not because you have the most points, and as far as good customer service goes, it should be a given and not something you have to earn .

Amen to that! Although in some instances it is perhaps that they tailor it to the specific player and prefer to do an ongong evaluation.

My favourites for loyalty down the years have been Roxy Palace, 32Red and 3Dice. Roxy's and 3Dice's are automated while 32Red is a bit more "as and when" but they have all been more generous than other programs in my experience.
