I can understand Bryand and the frustration he encounters in meeting the tough WRs. However, if the WRs he wants applies only to birthday freebies, he has a point.

I could not even come close to that with my last 5 deposits!

I agree on the Birthday bonuses - I also agree some of the W/R are getting unattainable - but we also have the choice not to take them.

Casino's have the right to put any T/C they want on a bonus - we don't have to take it. I have many times kicked myself for winning something big on a free bonus, but playing on the free bonus saved me money because I didn't have to deposit my money so I felt ahead.

Probably best to opt out the bonus schemes altogether, that way if you do see a promotion thats running that you like, you can always opt back in.

Even a 100% match bonus with a lower playthrough does not guarentee twice the playing time. What it usually means is you need to play 15 or 20 times longer just to protect your own initial stake.

Having studied KK's logs I notice that hes treating the bonus as his money, grinding out every £. Lets face it if many of us are honest we get a bonus and relax too much because we see it as free money, then once the bonus has gone struggle to meet playthrough just to get the initial stake back.

For me bonuses are good if taken less frequently say once per month. If relied upon as a way to boost winning expectations then they can spell trouble for the less disciplined players.

X 5DB just isn't going to happen, if it did the carrot would be swayed too heavily in the players favour. The donkey always takes the carrot if it is dangling, so a X 15DB provides the ideal carrot, because the player knows he has a chance.

If you take 10 $ with a 50x WR, thats still only 500 to play through. I managed several times to cash out on such offers.

I agree - I will take and play with any free money. Though I will say that part of my decision as to with whom to deposit is 'which casinos reward players with free chips that have the least restrictive terms?'. For example, I find Slotocash and Lion Slots free chips to have the MOST potential value, since they have lower WR's and (so far, and most importantly) no max cashout.
