    Question I have received a phone-call!

Pleasant women’s voice wished me welcome to the casino I have joined 2 days ago. That wouldn’t be so strange, but the only problem here is that I HAVE NOT joined any of the casino in the last few days, and especially that one from which I received the call.

So, I politely asked if she could provide me with my info, and on my surprise she gave me full details, including my phone number (obviously as she called me), my address, country and all other relevant info. I asked then for my email, and guess what? Not mine, and registered as xxx@gmail.com.

Of course, I immediately requested closure of that “fake” account.

Now, questions that come into my mind - Who, why and how? Did somebody had similar experience. Any suggestions?

Well if it wasn't for the wrong email I'd think it was a casino that maybe changed platforms or closed and they ported your info to a new account. That happened to me once a long time with a Playtech casino that closed, they 'opened' an account with my details at one of their sister casinos.

But if they had a different email that looked unfamiliar to you then that's pretty strange. Did the woman say whether any deposits had been made into the account?

Another thing to think of is that if the casino who called you is a real rogue, they may have bought or gotten some of your info from another rogue if you've played in the past. I've gotten calls from Virtual group's casinos that I never had an account with.

I would be interested to know the country of the ip address that registered that casino account.
