I think, and correct me if I am wrong that u have to make a certain amount of posts before you can give thanks,
Tight means that it has become harder to win, that the slots dont pay out as much or as easily as they used to.. (i think)

Tight/cold means there aren't as many wins. Loose/hot means there are more wins.

Hi and welcome to the forum .
After you have enough posts you will see a 'THANKS" button on the bottom right hand side of each post .
Tight means like what everyone else said . Machine not paying good or much
Tight = ROTS
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Welcome thorn101. Have you ever heard of someone being so tight with money they squeak?
I suppose a person could just post a thank you if they really want to thank someone. Sure would have saved a lot of time if I could have 'clicked' those thank you notes out in my youth. (that's ok mom, it was a good thing)![]()
How could I not click a thread entitled "What does tight mean?"![]()

Thanks for the answers.
I figured from the context that it was a negative thing.
Is this only for slots, or games in general.
And how can they make something "tight" or "loose" ?
Example= RTG, Rival , MG Casinos "are really playing tight now". It means the games are not hitting features as much or theres no decent line wins = no fun for the depositing player..............laurie

@Skiny Should have thought of the double entendre![]()
@lauriejim I had no idea they could do that
From my understanding of casino games is that there is a certain mathematical probability to getting a certain result (built in the game), a win or loss favourable to the casino (aka "The house always wins").
Then you have a certain amount of luck and randomness which could work in your favour like setting the dice in a particular way etc.etc., hence gambling.
But this means they have a feature built in their software which changes that.
O.K now i'm really getting paranoid
Okay here is my take. No matter what casino I deposit at latley be it Rival, RTG or Vegas Technology I cannot get decent gameplay. The whole industry seems to be tight right now. This kind of environment will cause players to stop depositing so I do hope the industry loosens up the odds just a tad so that we can get some entertainment value.
