Yes, they can. Someone else can probably fill you more in on this, but I think they can change it from 91, or even lower up to 97%. The operator can change the RTP of each slot, this has been verified by a casino operator in here.

If you were someone who has been playing RTG slots over the years, you'll see a dramatic difference in the way the software plays now. After numerous deposits over the past 2 months, I believe the slot payout is well under 50%.

A few things are quite evident:
    1. The patterns and reel lineups have been adjusted (very noticeable in TRex Game)
    2. Very few bonus rounds
    3. When bonus rounds do hit, the payout is dramatically lower than before.

These casinos will do everything possible to literally "steal" your money as the games are not random. They also will not provide to you a history of gaming play or deposit history (e.g. Intertops will refer you to another website to register a complaint).

I believe the only reason why people still play at these casinos is because they remember when the software seemed fair and are hoping for a return to that history. Those days are gone. The casino does not want you to even win $10. The only people making money is RTG, casino operator, affiliates and people who advertise for them. It definitely is not the players.

This has been very clear to me for a while now. I do not play at any of the RTG casinos regularly. I play at Rival, VIP Slots and some smaller independent sites. That's it. Oh, and some poker every now and then, but that's a different ball of wax. All the RTG casinos are simply too tight, and as is, IMO, 3Dice. I will still deposit, but only with mad money, i.e., not money as part of my entertainment budget - I save that for casinos where I feel 1) I will have a fighting chance; and 2) that are fun. If you can't win, it's no fun. That's what RTG has forgotten. They will probably decline. Rival has them beat at their game. Can't imagine why anyone would pick an RTG casino over a Rival one. All just my opinion.

No sense in beating the skeleton of a dead horse, we all know RTG software can be adjusted on the whim of the operator. End of story.

It should also be noted that the payout % for real series slots INCLUDES the random jackpots and, therefore, unless you hit one it is unlikely you will experience the stated % in the long run. We know the operator can change the RTP within a given range and I also remember a rep stating they can vary the % of each bet that is put into the RJ pot which would also affect the game.

In other words, the actual GAME itself will pay out less than the advertised % due to the random jackpot which only goes to one person.

Any chance the house edge at RTGs for table games is customisable as well? That would explain some things.

If they adjust the payout would that affect all games or can they adjust certain real series slots and not others?

I actually did get my play history from Allstars. I only waited 1 day and they sent it via email to me. My payout % sucked 80% and that def lined up with my play so I dont think there was anything dodgy with them. I have waited 2 weeks at another RTG for stats which is ridiculous.

    RTG Slots

RTG Reel Series slots can be set to pay out specific RTPs. This is achieved by altering the reel strips. The operator selects the desired RTP, and the slot is updated with the appropriate reelstrips.

    There are sometimes 2 settings, 95% and 97.5%, and sometimes 3 91%, 95%, and 97.5%

It seems that it is primarily the later slots that have the lower 91% setting, but RTG may have "reverse engineered" the concept to cover the older slots.

This became VERY evident when the first HARD EVIDENCE appeared, with Fruit Frenzy being PROVEN to have at least TWO different reel strips in concurrent operation. One at one casino, and a different one at another. The "smoking gun" was a cock-up on the design front. Stop 40 and stop 1 BOTH had the pear on strip 2 on one variant, but not the other. This made it possible to prove these two variants existed simply by noticing that there were two consecutive pears when the reel stopped showing both stops 40 and 1.
Since this was evident at one operator, but it was not evident at another, despite many spins, it became clear that there were two settings for this slot, and that individual operators could have their own settings, and it was NOT "RTG wide".

RTG operators can also change the RTP of table games, again by the selection of an RTP from a choice list. This, however, can easily be deduced by the player by looking at the paytables, and comparing between operators to get the best deal. Blackjack defaults to 8 decks, but can be set to have up to 255, effectively using the "infinite deck" model (the same as was used at Lasseters and Ausvegas when they were operating). RTG casinos, however, do not DISCLOSE how many decks are set, unlike other casinos, where the number of decks in use often forms part of the rules of play (example - MGS, as well as payouts, doubling and splitting rules, etc, the parameter "number of decks" is also quoted).
