    In the future, Online Casino's.

Let's look into the future and online casino's despite all the negative issues facing the industry's future or past history as we know it in 2009. Can you image what the future hold's 10 or 20 years down the road? I'm thinking corporations will be running the show, no rogue casino's, no deposit or payout problems, playing online will be like going to McDonalds and ordering a hamburger! Here's my top few predictions for the future of Online Gambling, would love to hear yours..
    1. The industry will be regulated, taxed and enforced around the globe.
    2. Rogue casino's will still exist but spotted easily and shut down by the Governments.
    3. Governments will make sure players are paid and the operators have funds to do so by an international license/credit check.
    4. Transfer of money will never be a problem and collection of winning's too.
    5. Land based casino's are gone, went online due to lower overhead and fewer employees.
    6. Sites such as CM will still exist but all posts will be about where you have won or lost.
    7. Many casino's might join up with a lottery type thing like Power Ball in the US. and Jackpot's will start at 20 million for a global slot payout!
    8. New games will come more frequent than now.

I've only skimmed the future slightly, would love to hear your "In the future predictions".

Land casinos will not disappear. People still enjoy going out for the evening, having a good meal and being entertained.

I guess all the buildings would sit vacant, like many of the GM dealerships here in the US. Who ever thought they could fail? When I was younger I loved going to the drive-in movie theaters but that's gone with the exception of maybe a handful somewhere. I give movie theaters another 15 to 20 years and bye bye to them as well. I'm looking into the future, not what we enjoy doing today and when this industry gets global legalization and regulated the land based casino's will fade away. Just my opinion of course.

I don't think at all that the land based casinos will simply fade away but rather will be re-vamped into online super-mega casinos. Harrah's is already well on their way to doing just this.

When they and a few others start going live online then we will also most likely see our current players club card accounts follow the move as well. They will most likely implement close to the same type or at least similar benefits and comps that we see now from our play at the land based casino.

At least this is the way I would like to see it turn out.

    Good thread by the way..

I think signing in to online casino's with an acc no will be a thing of the past, they will bring in iris/fingerprint scanners etc

in the distant future maybe they will have virtual reality casino's, just plug in a head set and it will be just like being in a B&M casino,

guess who just watched the film surrogates
    I gave up gambling,
Now all i ever do is make mind bets,
You never bet any real money you only bet in your mind.
The results are fairly good, ive only lost my mind 5 times so far this month

I hope that there will be more control systems for players against casino cheating instead of auditors company.
