Currency exchange rates in casinos

Some time ago I've deposited from USD Ecocard account to casino where my account currency is EURO. Very f$%kin smart,I agree

I have a nice looking balance there now. I've made a small WD to see what I'll receive. I've received 71.71 USD for 50 EUROs withdrawal two days ago

They DO NOT ALLOW me to make a EURO deposit and withdraw EUROS without conversion

They say that WINNINGS GENERATED FROM DEPOSIT must be paid to the same account from which deposit was made and this isn't the only interesting thing they told me.

But F$^ck,show me where it is stated (please)

And where they get their conversion rates?

my guess is the exchange rates are set by ecocard.

So direct any complaints to them.

I'm in Canada and I play at quite a few casinos that are in US funds - I notice that the exchange rate when I deposit is a little higher than when I withdraw depending on which eWallet I use. Is it possible that the ewallets charge a little fee for doing the conversion?

would be surprised if ewallets would not charge a good conversion fee. and casinos also........

I also noticed before that different MGS convert at different rates.

Moneybookers add 1.99%: "This charge serves as a protection against the volatility and risk associated with FX markets. The Moneybookers exchange rates are updated on a regular basis throughout the day"

I also often see portals which have pokerroom.sportsbook,casino etc. have "My account" in USD but casino account is in EUR. So I just cannot avoid conversion.

ewallets as credit card companies add 1.5%~3% charge up to the "real-time" exchange rate. It's normal in the industry. How to avoid the charge? Open a USD MB account and USD player account because USD is still the most common currency.

For Canadians, if you already have a CAD MB account, send a request to close it and open a USD account instead. Don't use Click2pay. Exchange loss is very high.
