    Eco-Card errors when depositing (?)

So I finally bit the bullet and signed up with an E-Wallet (Eco-Card). However, when I tried to make my first deposit I got the following message:
"Rejected by Credit Card External Service". I called my bank and they said there's nothing wrong on their end. I've tried two different cards (MC & VISA Debit), same result. Has anyone else come across this? I can't afford wire transfers. I have an email in to CS, but that won't get answered until Monday, so, if I could get some insight before then, that would be great. Mods, if this is posted in the wrong place, feel free to move. I just put it here because this section gets the most traffic.

    Dave,

I assume you mean Quicktender/UseMyWallet. My Wired Plastic card won't load it but my Netspend card will or at least the last time I tried it worked. I got the same message when I tried to load with Wired Plastic.

I have my account linked directly to the bank account and use the debit card.

Not in ATB but so what. I am tired of worrying about big brother watching me lose MY money, lol.

Linked directly to the bank also allows incoming wire transfers although they are $30 a transaction. The bank also charges a fee.

Ecocard is one of the worst when it comes to transactions though I have no choice but to stick with them. I can deposit to ecocard with no problem as I can go to my local bank and deposit cash and it will be reflected in my ecocard account after 6 hours. However, I had a hell of a time sending money from ecocard to sportsbooks and many casinos did take a lot of time getting deposits thru ecocard to work. Once, it took my sportsbook 2 months before they could figure out with ecocard what went wrong. The message was similar to the one you stated except that it was merchant that was rejected.

I think you need some time for the bank to work this out with ecocard. And boy, are they slow.

Just got an e-mail back from ECO...reminding me that they aren't a valid payment option for US players...wish Inetbet's website had mentioned that (only moneybookers is listed as not for US players)
