    Hi miranda_x,

We are unfortunately not accepting players from Belgium but wish you the best of luck in finding and casino to play at

    Belgium

When did THEY pass UIGEA type legislation.

It makes no sense. In the US, it IS illegal to move money to and from gambling sites, yet casinos are prepared to align themselves with "black hat" processors to get the transactions past whatever monitoring the US banks put in place. Quite a few people in the industry have been arrested, even "kidnapped" we might say, by the US authorities for their involvment in processing gambling transactions, or even running gambling sites themselves.
Despite all the above, many casinos are STILL prepared to take the risk with the US, yet will fold immediately when it comes to some of the minor countries. When things just don't make sense, you start to get "conspiracy theories" evolving which try to make some kind of sense out of something that makes no sense at all.

Other than the US, only Israel and Turkey have passed laws with similar clout against online gambling, but again the casinos have nearly all folded, rather than find ways around the ban as they have with the US.

Players WILL of course look elsewhere, and will no doubt find somewhere, but are less likely to come over to a casino which first tells them they are banned, and later (when things change) suddenly start marketing to these banned players.

I'm thinking the casino group had the Belgium from Winsconsin, USA in mind rather than the country in Europe
