    Stupid email from Neteller

This is probably the sickest gambling related email I have ever received-and it's from neteller.

Note the subject line-your account balance is running low. Then I open it up and it says "Don't tap out while you're on a roll"

How the f=-k can I be on a roll, if my neteller balance is 0.58!

    Wow.

And there's me thinking that Neteller was available for lots of other things apart from JUST gambling websites!?? Well, I'm just believing the basis of their entire defence to the US Justice System...

It was actually US CUSTOMERS that were lied to, along with customers of a few other countries where Neteller decided to discontinue gambling transactions, but told customers they could STILL use the funds in their Neteller account for OTHER THINGS.

Something else, notice how they have that click through IN THE EMAIL for signing in with your SECURE DETAILS. Neteller have no idea about "phishing", and actively ENCOURAGE their customers to click through email links, rather than do what they should be doing, which is typing the URL into their browser and making damn sure they are supplying their details to the GENUINE Neteller website, rather than some fake one set up by "phishers".

I have never had this one, but I HAVE had Neteller ask me to give them details as to the nature of my transactions, which was, of course, ONLINE GAMBLING.

For some reason, Neteller are pretending that Neteller merchants are sometimes NOT anything to do with gambling, presumably to allow them the defence of ignorance of the merchant's activity, as was tried with the US authorities.

Neteller, although not a casino, are in breach of some of the responsible gambling guidelines by using terms such as "on a roll" to encourage the "chasing" behaviour, since someone whose Neteller balance has fallen to near zero is probably "on a chase", rather than a "roll", and should be allowed some breathing space, rather than having Neteller join in the bombardment of incitements to deposit that the casinos send out.
