Something really weird! visa deposit!

Ok hey guys..i'm from israel and i have not been able to deposit on ANY casino with my credit card (almost all the casinos listed here) EXCEPT for PLANET 7 casino!...which i know now is a rogue casino!

When i tried to deposit there it gave me "country blocked" and below that "deposit" to try through alternate processors and thats how it works!

It doesnt work on ANY other casino..rtg..microgaming..rival...do u guys know why THIS casino in particular????

I really wana play on some casinos here but i cant..also neteller doesnt accept from israel and moneybookers declined my card!

thanks.

Sounds like your credit card is blocked from making gambling transactions.
Some merchants (casinos) will purposely use a false merchant category (other than gambling) to bypass these restrictions. In other words, they hide the fact that they're an online casino.

I wouldn't be surprised if they claim to be selling flowers or pet supplies (or whatever) when dealing with their processor

Israel banned online gambling recently, so many casinos will no longer accept players from Israel. Credit card companies based in Israel will of course decline any transaction they believe to be related to online gambling.

The card will probably work if the processor fakes the category on the amount, often helped along by using a non-rounded number, such as charging the card $49.99 for a $50 deposit, making it look more credible that it was a purchase, rather than a casino deposit.

There are some non-rogue casinos that will do this, however, it doesn't alter the fact that it is "fraud" (lying about the category to force a transaction through the filters).

Casinos have become pretty good at getting card transactions to go through, mainly because they developed these to bypass former VOLUNTARY restrictions applied by many US banks before UIGEA came along. Now that UIGEA has come along, many US players can still play at casinos prepared to do what it takes to get the transactions through.

Whilst they will do all of this for US players, it seems they are less willing to do the same for their much smaller markets. Many casinos have simply banned Israeli and Turkish players since both countries passed laws making online gambling illegal.

Look for casinos NOT in the rogue pit, and then search for any information on them. These may be safer options than continuing to play at a rogue because it is the only one so far to accept the card for deposits.

You could also investigate alternative deposit methods, although many of the big players have pulled out of the Israeli market.

US players had some success with prepaid cards, or gift cards, rather than normal credit cards.

why do so many countries frown on gambling online?

My assumption is it is purely a case of ecomomics. Are they assuming the money would otherwise be spent locally?

The arguments surrounding the issue in the USA has proven it is about money, protectionism of state run monopolies, & loss of US money to offshore companies, rather that protection of players, and prevention of terrorism.

i woeuldnt recommend you planet7

it took nearly 2 months and endless chat, email conversations with their well trained support staff in delaying everything most efficient , after getting paid;-)

if you are not into this, they play you around like a ball imho..

their support manager told me their normal timeframe on all withdrawals is minimum a 21days

as i heard that i was just too happy i just won on a free chip there and would never put in a dime of my own money..

if i wouldnt have posted dispute at this cds at lest they would have paid never i think because their options for withdrawals are the poorest ever..

i had to convince them for 1 month that a money gram is not available in the city i live in germany. they offered it again and gain, same operators that knew i couldnt take it, i had to get real angry in chat and in the end they paid from their merchants neteller account which they truly have but is not officially available for cashouts in the cashier just for takin the money ;-)

these guys are just a strange operation if you ask me.. better stay away..

iam sure youll find a casino allowing you to depsoit however with your visa or maybe theres another solution..

cheers

coxwel

"Fraud" is a legal term, and failing to use the code for gambling when processing VISA/MC payments is not fraud, it is not punishable by law. It is at worst a breach of the contract with the credit card companies (if that).
