OMG...I can't believe this. But to be fair and give them the option of reply, could someone PM John, the Rockbet rep, and have him clarify this? If someone partakes of the promo, and receives the $20 n/d bonus.....what is the max cashout?

They might also want to ask him how long it would take to actually receive the 200K plus, if they were allowed to withdraw it all. The progressive payments issue has never been addressed, by any Rival rep....here or elsewhere.

I'd PM myself, but I'm not real popular with Rival right now.

Looks like you have to download and install the software and go to the "Cashier" to read the T&C for the specific bonuses.

Don't know if I like that.

I do know John and he has asked me to promote this casino, don't know if I will or not yet.

I'm not real happy with some things I have seen lately from Rival.

It also kills me when I see three of four paragraphs on the casino T&C dedicated to the player Depositing.... But not a single word about the player Cashing Out.

Getting money to the casinos is real easy (as we all know). It's getting the money from the Casino to YOUR pocket that is VERY tricky.

Lots0, you've read the Irish Luck thread right? I'm sure you have, or at least read the condensed version at the GPWA. Just wanted to make sure. :)

progressives

I got a similar offer from another casino like that. I don't know if it was jackpot capital or another one. It was a no deposit bonus for the progressives..I'll have to go through my email and see if I deleted it or not.

Terms

Here are the terms for the original bonus, but of course nothing is on there about the freebie. ;)

Old news, get a PM but might as well PM Richard M. Nixon. You would have a better chance of getting a honest answer.

I shook my head for 3 hours at John's first reply last week. Who do you (plural) think started or at least is the frontman for this Den. I just made all that crap up in January about my concerns on the intent of the Progressives as well as the bonuses. The January PM to Bryan, an indirect request to Simmo via a reply to his PM (on another subject) to discuss some concerns about Rivals which in his reply he avoids or fails to mention Rival, the January posts, are all vindicative even after they got busted in May with their spin and sugar coat.

Afterall, they are the only game in town for new US sign ups except for a few RTG's.......I assure you, there are many more serious issues in my bag, one so serious I will never mention on the forums or Net period......I think they would be wise to remain silent.

Glad to see you noticed. Of course, I knew you would.

That said, Bryan can you please disable my means of posting forever although I would like to remain a member but if this is not possible, please PM me.

Yes they have - right here:

Slotocash pays this is in one lump sum. Their forum rep can probably confirm this since it was him I believe who made this statement.

Sloto has not in the past (as of the date of the chat I posted w Sloto on this exact subject issue). I know they had the same patron win a progresive twice in January 2009. I can't say if Sloto switched to payment in full thereafter or has simply changed it's policy on paper per their recent statement based on the Rival skin being busted.

No weed. I wouldn't be able to get out of my chair and surely I would have to hit Mickie D's
Thanks!

Seriously Bryan, I must have OD'd on stupid pills today.

I was the one who originally copied and pasted Sloto's post from the GPWA over to here. Post #150:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/one-million-reels-bc-204-167-54-was-hit-today.31127/

So for me to say that NO Rival rep had ever addressed it is just, well......dumb. What can I say? I should have said no Rival rep besides Sloto. I even went so far as to say that I thought Slotocash was a well run establishment...which I believe they are.

Thanks for pointing it out, no idea what I was thinking, or if I even was.

Lots0, if you want to promote a Rival, I'd even give them a thumbs up. Just an opinion.

Thanks Pina... However, I am slowly moving away from ALL the Rival Casinos... Kind of a shame too, they had some real potential in my opinion till management decided to take the low road...

The Canadian pull out set off some major alarms for me... Then the Irish Luck theft and then some affiliate stuff I won't talk about in public...

This post will more than likely cost me some money... But WTF, life is short. :D

It would be a step in the right direction to pay progressives in a lump sum.
Now would they please get rid of the weekly/monthly limits!

I once asked a highly respected I-gaming rep why their betting limits were so small (compared to other casinos). They told me something along the lines of:
"We have our current limits to ensure we are able to pay all our winners in a timely manner."
They had considered every possible outcome (=wins) and chosen their limits accordingly. Now thats responsible gambling!

Whats not:
Giving players the chance to win more than you're prepared to pay them. Do $100 spins sound familiar? Win the top JP at an RTG casino, and it will take them close to 2 years to pay you in full*. And thats assuming you don't lose it back AND that they stay in business. Rival is just as bad in this respect, they have some crazy betting/withdrawal limits too.

I would go as far as saying that if 4000 is the maximum pay, then that should also be the highest win possible!

Freddy

*(assuming they pay 4000 per week) ((250.000/12000=20,8)/12=1,7)

Ahhh, but Lots0, that's why I love ya...am I allowed to say that?

What's money? Coloured paper with pictures on it. Don't ever change.

Freddy, you win the most sensible post of the day award. We will have to determine a suitable prize for you.

I know the rep you speak of, and I got the same answer. It just makes way too much sense doesn't it? Operating WITHIN your budget/float, and planning for every possible scenario. Amazed that other operators haven't caught on yet.

Still here and interesting. Obviously may explain the designed schemes as some may recollect I took 7,8,9 different deposits over a ~ 9 month period so far past "every possible scenario" I would be scared to add it up.

I knew they were laughing their ass off and even emailed John and Liann a set of checks ~ mid-2008 that given a different scenario, I do not play until I lose it all back. Same at MG which pays me in full. I thought I could be disciplined enough to overcome despite all, I could not so blame me (I do but I don't on all counts. Yet, part of the reason I closed all accounts and I stress on my own accord) and I doubt given the same scenario must could overcome. I will later post how a designed scheme works after John in April 2008 made it crystal clear on this forum that any amount one desired could be flushed above the daily, weekly, and monthly withdrawal limits. The basis for my return several months later.

I don't mean to derail but this is related to refre's post above. Gold Rock has said they do not carry the Scary Rich games and when I first found this out I sat back and asked myself a couple of questions and guess what conclusion I came to? They don't have enough float to cover big wins, of course that is only my opinion but what else could it be other than licensing fees? Having enough float is the likely answer and doesn't that make anyone else nervous besides me?
I closed my account. ;)
