Why do we keep going back?

What is the reason we as gamblers keep going back even if we are not winning? Is it the thrill of a chance to win big? Are we bored with nothing else to do? Is it our only form of entertainment?

This isn't a bash any casino, or boohoo I didn't win thread.

For me it is the thrill of a big win, even though it's only happened very very few times. I don't go out very often, so this is my entertainment, instead of seeing a movie or what have you, I gamble.

I barely ever withdrawal, not for lack of judgement, but because I honestly hardly ever win. My last 5-10 deposits were between $50-$70 and I think only once or twice I have gotten over my initial deposit. (yes I am the unluckiest person at this forum )

BUT this is my only form of entertainment/excitement/having fun on a friday night.

So..... what keeps YOU going back?
    Christmas is coming fast!!!

I play for pure entertainment here and I take the bonuses and play slots...I never won and never expect to win.....But for 25 -50 bucks , if I can play for 4-5 hours its cheaper.....I play strictly Video Poker and there are 5 casinos here in miami..I will either win or else I will lose at least 200 bu7cks if I make the trip In almost 40 years in a B&M casino , I have never ever dropped a nickel in a slot machine

Being unemployed sucks....I am at my local brick and motor every day just trying to pass the time and maybe make some cash at the tables. LOL

Also ever since I lost 75k in one day a few years ago I've been chasing that loss with another 100k down the toilet. LOL, but I would do it all over again only way to live!

I don't trust online casinos so I only play the free chips I get or maybe a hundred bucks here or there maybe a few grand on sportsbetting.

Just never bet on credit and your good to go.

I'm not a gambler, and it's my luck! I tried to play at online casinos for real several times, and I won. But, for me it's not a good way to earn money, and it's not a good way of entertainment, because I may lose my earned money.
