    time to call it quits????

a few years back i would of laughed at the idea of quitting gambling online, but now it seems that the time to say bye to it becomes ever closer for me

it always used to be plain and simple, me vs the "bookmaker" (or casino manager lol). It always used to be plain simple fun, but now in many ways its also now me vs rogueish behaviour, hassles of sending proof of identity (and signed deposit forms) and stupidly high wagering requirements (with soime bonuses) that set me up to lose.

back in the good days was when i wouldnt need to spend 2 hours checking through every detail in the terms before signing up.

It seems a lot of the "fun" element has been overtaken by the "hassle" element. I had to open a moneybookers and neteller account which has taken days/weeks with verification just so i could deposit and withdraw money at certain casinos

weekly i get about 2 cd roms in the post from casinos with "special" offers and letters claiming they can give me the best bonuses to help me win big. Nowadays i look at them and think to myself "in other words they are saying please give us your money, we will mask the fact you can lose with an offer that sounds too good to be true and actually is". Its become a lot less of "if you want to gamble, we are open to do business" and more of "you dont want to gamble??? but we will have a damm good go at making you want to come and play"

i think now must be the time to think do i want a huge amount of small losses to get 1 or 2 medium sized wins? when i can just keep my own money risk free and enjoy spending it on myself and my family? because for me im having less and less fun everytime i play

The way things are these days I'd be happy to go through the hassles of making a withdrawal.

Gambling is supposed to be entertaining. If you're no longer entertained then stop doing it.

If you can't stop yourself then the best thing to do is to send all your money to me. I'll... hold it for you... or something.
