I played that same bonus last night and was wondering the exact same thing about what the heck the "Max Cashout" was all about since it was for a progressive. Some of these bonuses, the way they are written just boggles the mind...:eek2:

In that case "Thank You Irish Luck For Nothing"
I have not seen an offer by them in a long time.
I bet it was hit on that deal too.

I got this offer from Irish luck. After redeeming 37.5 for 10max spins, i did not found the game under progressive tab. Then after talking with live chat i was informed, that this offer is only for usa players. And they got some problems with this bonus, sending mails to non usa players..... and bonus manager is nedeed to sort things out. So now i got 37.5 on my acount, and i can not play any game until they sorted...
congrats to the winner:thumbsup:

hahaha

I just looked at the bonus details...$5,000 wagering, $375 max withdrawal....on a $200K+ progressive????

wtf were they thinking?

If this WAS hit at Irish Luck, where'd the rest of the money go? Hopefully back to the progressive JP seed.....but no....I took the bonus and right now the JP is just over $4710.

And wow, it lasted a whole 30 seconds.

That's a damn good question there Win whether it was won at Irish luck or not. It would be nice for their Rep here to come in here and let us all know what would have happened to the remainder of the jackpot funds had it been won at Irish luck on this coupon.

Yep, especially since there was over a $200K difference between the max cashout and the JP fund.

Do we know where it was hit?

Many of the bonus offers from Rival casinos, have max cashout limits on deposit bonuses!! So it will be important to watch out for this.

Slotocash, to the best of my knowlege, does not have any max cashouts on their match bonuses, but they don't have this winner on their scrolling winners marquee.

I played it too and got it up to nearly $500. With max bet and WRs of $5000, you would easily bust unless you hit the JP. Well, I busted on my next 1K of wagering.

Yep, it was almost impossible to win with their terms of the bonus. If you bet anything less than max, any winnings were void, and you couldn't cash out a penny.

This is weird -- One Million Reels BC was hit a second time about an hour ago!

Launch date: January 12, 2009
First hit: $215,412, May 10, around 12:45 PM London time
Second hit: $6,932, May 10, around 3:15 PM London time

4 months of quiet, then 2 hits in 3 hours. Interesting. ;)

Congrats to both winners! :D

Unfortunately, both winners could only be entitled to $375 if they used the bonus from Irish Luck for this specific purpose. Out of interest's sake, if the first winner were from Irish Luck and the 2nd winner wasnt, would the latter have any claim to the $215K+ winnings that should have been sent back to the JP before it was won again?

Hi, the first JP was hit by Dan walker, and it was at Irish Luck with the free chip! He is trying to convert his balance into a nice comp payout.

So I don't think the second JP hit is entitled to the first JP, I think the players who contributed to the pot should feel a bit pissed. But if I won this JP on the Irish luck free chip I would feel 100% entitled to converting the bonus over to comps. The casino should of made the player a deal by giving him a decent percentage of the JP, then putting the rest back into the pot. That way all players would be happy.

I guess they were hoping the player wouldn't surface on a forum, and it would just go away.

No funds are set back to the Progressive Jackpot Pool period per CS in January 2009.

Progressive predatory bonuses, progressive win installment payments, well you can decide. I already have long ago.

EDIT:Of course, the above mentioned was before max. cashouts were added to the menu:rolleyes:

So what do they do with the remainder of the jackpot funds then if they are not set back into the progressive pool? Did they tell you or do you know that for sure?

If this is true, my worst fears are realised. I was wondering why the hell Irish Luck came up with such a promo. If the funds are supposedly given to a winner but he had to convert these to comps after a marathon run, Irish Luck gets the bulk of the JP legitimately because ultimately he has to play it all back at max bet in the casino and it's akin to laundering money.

LOL,:)

All that I know is that in January 2009, that the assumed cash in hand at Rival Gaming aka nine or more casinos to pay progressive jackpots, that is/was never disbursed to a progressive jackpot winner regardless of the reason is not restored to the Jackpot pool.
Did they tell you or do you know that for sure?
No, they only told me the above mentioned but refused to address the issue pursuant to "the remainder of the jackpot funds" other than the funds are not restored to the Jackpot pool.
It is possible now with max. cashouts, they may have reconsidered their prior unacceptable policy that has/had no transparency whatsoever. If not, then they are not in my jail but will be under my jail :D:rolleyes:

I really wish I thought you were joking.
This is totally sickening - and I don't even play progressives!
If this story is true it means Irish Luck will end up with about $190,000 and the player with $10,000.
How can that possibly be fair in anyone's eyes??? :what:

I hope someone has strongly advised this player to STOP playing immediately and seek a means of keeping more of the jackpot.
It's just not right.
:(

IF, and I repeat IF, the above are true (haven't verified myself, but I will)....then every one of the Rival casinos who follow this policy belong in the rogue pit, period. 200K, and they just keep it? How convenient for them that it was hit on a free chip, on the very day they decided to give out massive free chips to play JUST this one game.

This is precisely what I was harping on about in this thread (Post #39 and beyond):

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/rival-casinos.30593/

The Vegas Regal rep Nicolas, had promised to ask Rival about the progressive issue, and report back. That was three weeks ago, and nary a peep since. I don't blame him, I wouldn't be surprised if the powers that be have told him to keep quiet. NONE of the Rival reps post much on here anymore, do they?

But of course, Rival have absolutely zero incentive to mend their ways, or change their policies as long as players continue to play there....and webmasters/affiliates happily promote them.

Maybe this is just simply a marketing ploy by Irish Luck to gain attention to their casino and the lame ass way they conjured up this absurd promotion...I'm being sarcastic here, but this one really takes the cake!

I hope the Irish Luck Rep here is brave enough to step into this thread and explain this bullshite!

Cheers and likewise I harped and harped,lol [post=279104]January 23,2009 ICE Post[/post]

Not in the Pit but buried under the Pit:thumbsup:

If there's anything deeper than under the Pit, I'd glady break ground.

I wanna see how many webmasters and affiliates continue to promote them, even after this. And how in any way they can equate these actions with a "reputable" casino?

Probably the same way that the webmasters continue to promote the "Playtech" branded casinos even after the way that Playtech has handled the "Sylvia 4 million dollar win". Playtech knowingly sent the funds to a rogue casino for them to handle the payout. This is no different that what the "Rival" casino "Irish Luck" has basically done with this promotion....think about it...;)

Also remember that thread regarding "Casino Club" a "Boss Media" software casino thread awhile back that still has not seen the winner payed out the progressive yet....I will dig it up...
