    More wasted time.

I'm wandering around the internet looking at online casinos and I come across English Harbour. Sounds familiar so I play the fake wheel of fortune and that gets me to the casino front page. I spend a little bit of time roaming around the site and finally decide to go ahead and download it.

I install the software which spends about 10 minutes updating itself and finally starts. I start registering a new account and when I get to the country drop down box that's when I realize there is no Canada.

Now I suppose I could have came back here and looked through the list to find this casino has a canadian flag with a line through it and not bothered with the 15 minute download and installation but I shouldn't have to.

When I saw the U.S. in the drop down box I was surprised not to see a Canada so I sent the live help a message.

    ----

Nina: Please note that our company has made a business decision to no longer accept Canadian customers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

you: Americans can play but Canadians can't?

you: Hello? - (I hate these 5 minute pauses.)

    Nina: Yes

you: Is there a reason Americans can play but Canadians can't?

Nina: But we do not accept players from Missouri, Oregon nor Kentucky either

--- I guess Col. Sanders will have to find out the hard way too.

It's entirely up to a casino who they let play and who they don't but I think it would be a common courtesy if they are going to ban an entire country to put some sort of warning in plain site before guys like me go to all the trouble to install and then have to uninstall the casino software.

Not all casinos are listed here with this warning and even if I had came to check this site I probably would have only scanned through the rogue list anyway.

By the way. Her advice to uninstall the software since it didn't come with an uninstall link was to just delete the folder. That's not the best advice either.
