Question RTG progressives and weekly limits

Most RTGs have weekly cash out restrictions. So do their progressive wins have similar restrictions? I looked at T&C of several casinos but could not find any info regarding progressive payouts.

So is it worth playing them at all??

Imagining hitting Jackpot Pinatas and not getting money.
    Who took my money ??

I am pretty sure that one of the reps has stated that Jackpot Pinatas is not subject to the weekly limits, and paid directly by rtg and not the casino,

Yea, you're right Pam. I actually asked that same question awhile back to Louise here in one of the threads and she confirmed that it was not subject to the weekly limits.

Check out the thread on Joyland (Playtech) stealing a large progressive win:

I would not be surprised if a less-than-reputable RTG tried similar tricks.

hmmmm, call me cynical but i just called them and spoke to a lovely lady(no names) who told that restrictions still apply however they can be "reviewed" and perhaps increased based on an individual case. No word about lump payment.

Yes, horrible story and I would not be surprised either. I am sure some of them could use limits posted in T&C to defer full payments.

    RTG reps, prove me wrong.

    From Inetbet's website:

*System Wide Progressive Jackpots: "Prior to any payouts on jackpot wins over $10,000 for all Progressive games, the win must undergo an extensive verification process, and will also be fully investigated for potential fraud by PanaTrans Overseas, Inc., the vendor for the Progressive System utilized by the casino software. PanaTrans will render the final payout decision and reserves the right to deny winnings to a casino player due to fraud, including, but not limited to multiple accounts, bank fraud/chargebacks, and identity fraud. Wins over $10,000 will be paid directly to the winner by PanaTrans, except in cases where, at its sole discretion, PanaTrans approves for the funds to be transferred directly into the winner's casino account. We, as well as PanaTrans, would like to take this opportunity to thank all the progressive game players for their support and to especially congratulate all past and future progressive winners."
    (emphasis added)

Here we go...the "at its sole discretion clause". Although PanaTrans will pay winners, they do have the discretion to pay it to a player's casino account, at which point I would assume that the casino's normal withdrawal limits come into play. I've just sent an email enquiring about withdrawal limits, I'll update when I get a response.

I think iNetBet is the only accredited RTG with no weekly limits. I may be wrong though.

Took about 45 minutes to get a response...no weekly withdrawal limits.

So at least at Inetbet, if the progressive is paid to your casino account, the only threat is the instant ability to play it back!

But if PanaTrans has the discretion to do this at Inetbet, it would not surprise me if it was part of its agreement with all the system wide RTG progressives, so a win at another RTG might find itself in a player's casino account at their discretion and possibly subject to weekly and/or monthly limits.

    Hi Everyone,

Just to clarify we do not have any limits as jasminebed has said.

The disclaimer on our site applies only to the System wide progressive games. Panatrans are the operation that deals with payment of these progressives that are contributed to by all RTG casinos. These include Let Em Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker, Shopping Spree etc. They first run some checks to make sure that the winner is eligible i.e. the jackpot was not won on a free chip etc and that there is no fraud to speak of.

I can only speak for us here at iNetBet but once this was completed then the player would be paid in full. I would expect that to be the case at most casinos even if they had weekly limits as the funds would have been paid by the network.

All of our in house progressives etc have no such need for this process as they are only funded by our own players and not contributed to from outside sources.

I hope this information makes things a little clearer.

    Best Regards
