Hello. I'm new to this forum. Got a quick question about Bodog Blackjack, and all online BJ sites in general.
I've recently been playing a lot of BJ on practice mode over at Bodog. The weird thing is, I've been having ridiculously good luck on it. I'm finding myself making hundreds of dollars in minutes and I've barely ever been below my starting bank roll. I'm thinking practice mode is made deliberately easier to entice you into playing with real money. It's absurd to think I could be turning over this much real money. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Do they significantly raise the stakes at Bodog when real money is involved?
Thanks.

I've played the BJ at Bodog a few months ago with $100 bets, it seemed fair to me even though I ended up losing. :lolup: Overall Bodog is a legit place to play, it's using RTG which is pretty proven to be streaky but fair overall.

HOWEVER, I am with you on the Play Money mode being godmode, It seems the player pulls a blackjack or 21 every other hand O_O....Not sure what to think of that. I am pretty confident that the Real Money play is FAIR but maybe not as FAIR as the play money mode. Just my opinion.

I cant comment on the odds and statistics or even if it plays fair, however one thing is certain, if you are playing to make money, its not going to happen.

If you want to play for entertainment, then thats fine, but to play to make money, is simply a path heading towards a large black hole otherwise.

I played a lot at bodog in both practice mode and real mode. And in both modes there were long losing and long winning streaks. I did not notice a difference. You were apperantly in the winning streak. Just wait untill you get the losing one, that is crazy!! BJ with the dealer soooo often :eek2:

Hiya: I play at Bodog also. The overall Odd's and % of Wins vs Losses, ends up at the same place. ie, what the math says it will end up at.

I hear players all the time say, "I was in Play Mode, and made a killing, and when i switched to real money play, i started loosing".

Using just simple 50/50 as example.

Play Mode: Won 75 hands, lost 25.
Real Money Mode: Won 25 hands, lost 75.

Total= Won 100, and lost 100.

Idea: Maybe try this next time. Play in Play mode, until you hit a big loosing streak, and after it ends, switch over to real money play, and see what happens?
