Silver Dollar Casino another to avoid

Another Casino review and another dump I'm afraid.
50% payback on slots without features but the real problem is they are just cheap and nasty to play.
I like to try new software, especially slots but these are no fun at all with crappy graphics, animations and sounds.
Also you supposedly get 10,000 loyalty points when you sign up.

I tried to access my account to check but got the error account not found, so I went to live chat where they said I had to make a deposit and my account would be activated and the points awarded.

Well after my deposit and the 5 minutes play that allowed me I tried again and got the same error.
I could not be bothered going back again so just deleted the Casino.
Amen, may it rest in peace.

A bit OT but does this group still have the same owners as back in 2006?

I can't say, it is very difficult to find information on them as there is no about us tab or info on the home page.
They also own English Harbour which I seem to remember has a bad Rep.
    I could be wrong.

English Harbour has proudly been providing customers with the best online casino experience available since 1997. As a fully licensed, honest casino, we offer our customers a wide variety of exciting online casino games in a safe and secure environment

I can not say how honest they are but that is like advertising your Restaurant as a fully licensed, salmonella free restaurant.

Powered by award-winning Vegas Technology software, our casino delivers cutting edge graphics, animation, and sound across all of your favorite games

Perhaps they gave themselves an award because this software may have been cutting edge in 1999 but it sure aint now.

A bad rep is putting it mildly Rusty, lol.

    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...-cheating.html

Of course, it depends on whether you believe they were deliberately cheating customers on the VP double up feature, or if you believe(d) the casino's explanation that errant code was mistakenly uploaded into the VP game.

Bryan has recently re-added them to his accredited list, so I guess it's a matter of personal preference if you play there or not. I tend to think that if they cheated once, nothing to stop them from doing it again. If it was deliberate, that speaks for itself. If it was truly an error, doesn't say much for their programmers or their software. To each his own. I go by the old saying....fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

    Shame on me
Thanks Pina, I thought there was something but could not place it, just goes to prove a little research can save money.
Back to what I know now I think.

Anyway just to update I got the reward points so there must have been some sort of glitch for the delay.
I decided to play 9c a spin to see if I could trigger the free spin round on Safari slot.
    Nope.
So that is probably close to a 1000 spins without triggering on that slot which on you first (and last) deposit is a little disconcerting

That is plain wrong Rusty. The 10,000 points are awarded in conjunction with your deposit. Get back there and claim what is rightfully yours.

    Worse Casino On The Web

I want to say that the experience that I just had with Silver Dollar Casino was absolutely ridiculous and I am livid! I play online every night and I come here just about every night to read what everyone is saying. I found one of the software that I like through Silver Dollar Casino...or atleast I thought they had the newest games. I saw where they did a 100% match bonus so BEFORE I deposited I got on live chat to ask a few questions...for instance...playthrough amounts, if they would let you withdraw through mywebwallet, and if there was a max cash out. First, I like to have NEVER got that girl to understand what I was talking about with the max cash out. I felt like I was speaking a foreign language. I tried and tried and FINALLY I gave her a scenario and she still had trouble with it. Finally, I got her to understand. Oh...and BTW the first time I asked one question she answered and logged off....so I had to get her back on there to ask the remaining questions.

Then....I asked if I needed a bonus code to claim the 100% match bonus and she told me no, that it would do it automatically. I told her I would be depositing with the webwallet. Anyway, I deposited $60 and it gave me a $3 bonus, so I went back on there for the 3rd time and told her and she put me on hold for almost 10 minutes. By this time my patience had ran thin and I called them on the phone. Finally she said she failed to tell me that I could only get the match play if I deposited through credit card. (Now this was a first time deposit and I had aksed specifically). Anyway a guy gets on the phone and I am telling him what is going on...she comes back and said that they did go ahead and credit me...which she did...and he is on there arguing me about what all had happened.

Needless to say, I played $5 at a time just to get it over with and I could have had more fun chasing my cat around the house. It was absolutely a HORRIBLE experience!!!!!! I can't imagine how they are accredited here!!!

Ok...now that I am through venting, thanks for listening. I try to stay positive, but my gosh this was beyond the unordinary. I can't see them making it very far.

    slow service, good payouts

I have found their customer service on the chat to be very slow, but otherwise they are a very nice casino with very reliable payouts and decent bonuses once you get to a decent level.

Here's a hint, try calling them for bonuses etc rather than chatting, it works much faster.

I've also had some success on VP double up, so the software "seems" random to me. Of course, one would need many more trials to prove this, so I'm just giving my experiences.
