    3dice

Yes we all know they have great customer service and some fun tourneys and all. My question is why is it when you are in a tourney the hits are back to back with free spins and bonus rounds time after time. Deposit and the casino just kinda dies on you. I again with my last deposit no more then a few minutes play time thats fine a bad run is a bad run. But somewhere you need to draw the line when the fun just stops, even if you hit 4 of something doesnt even cover the cost of your bet size. Is it just me. Or are there other players out there that feel the same way.

I play a fair amount at 3dice and have had some great runs recently. I think tourney mode is different - higher bets allowed etc but I could be wrong. I found with 3dice nothing can happen for a while then out of the blue you can hit somthing big. Its all luck though.

Sure did..and uninstalled it...I felt a tremendous amount of relief since I uninstalled it because I only play at casinos that give back a little every once in a while now(withdrawal wise). Was tired of feeding the monster continuously without any play or return , deposit after deposit and as they say, if it isn't fun anymore it is time to move on..and I did...good luck to others that continue there, but it wasn't for me. Maybe someday in the far future, I might give it another try, but at this time, it is on my do not play list with a few others.

I have set my limit of deposits to around 3-5 and if there is no withdrawal to be had by the 5th deposit, I have been uninstalling them. What is interesting is I have narrowed it down to about 8 casinos now that actually give me play time and a little return to play with again that will keep my business..That is all I have ever asked from any casno and what is amazing is, I am enjoying myself a lot more with a lot more play time and bonus rounds etc with these few casinos.

Jas has helped me see the light

Brick and Mortar slot machines can be opened up and 'set' to tournament functionality that ensures lots of wins to make it more exciting. Since everyone's chance remains the same, but with more big 'wins' to make it interesting, there's no issue. I'm sure it is possible to set up online tournaments the same way, but I'm not certain that I would do it that way since people are less trusting and frequently think that the casino can 'flip the switch' already.

Well, I do know that I play a lot of tourneys, and I end up with less than my starting balance more times that I end ahead. I often feel when $2000 is gone in 40 minutes...glad that wasn't real money.

But when you hit, you hit pretty good usually. High variance slots mean fewer small wins "to keep you going", with the occasional good payback. But you can't keep playing because you "are on a roll", because the rolls are not long.

I don't think they play differently in tourneys, I just don't make max bets in real without any consequences like tourney play.

And it is awfully nice to have such competent support and near instant withdrawals to my e-wallet, or timely bank wires if I have a win large enough to avoid fees.

When I lose my deposit, I have a chance to come back and play free tourneys to try again for some real play.

Plus, all the lovely fellow 3dicers to complain about how rotten real was to me.

Ditto here Jazzy, lol. I've zeroed out quite a few times lately playing tournies. And my luck has been just plain bad everywhere lately.....32Red, Inetbet and 3Dice. So it's certainly not confined to 3Dice at all. I haven't played in a week or more anywhere, and I'm gonna give it at least another week's break before I test the waters again (at any of my 3 casinos).

    Hi Lauram,

I'm sorry you had a bad run, it happens - and I know its substantially less fun than a good one. Keep in mind tho that that deposit although it didn't give you any playtime directly is what keeps you in the VIP tournaments - and those give you guaranteed playtime. And not just playtime actually, looking at your lifetime stats, the tourney-wins are part of the reason you've withdrawn more than you deposited at 3Dice (I'll send you your stats in pm).

Hope you have better luck next time, Lauram !

    Hi silc,

Imagine a 100% casino run by lets say Bryan himself. In this 100% payback casino, on the long term, the total withdraw and total deposit would be the same (hence 100%). On such a casino you should expect to cashout $100 on average every fifth deposit of $20. (5x$20 = $100). In this flawless casino the odds of going 5 deposits without cashout would be (4/5)^5 = 32%. That means that if you take 3 series of 5 deposits, 1 of them have no cashout. So following your logic you would uninstall this divine casino after just 15 deposits. It would be a bad move. In all honesty, the strategy you describe will run you out of reputable casino's pretty fast and the odds that that big hit is gonna happen at a place you rather wouldn't increase equally fast.

You don't get to chose whether or not you'll be lucky - you just get to chose where it can happen...

    Kindest Regards,

    Enzo

My run has been bad as well. usually the deposit is gone in no time at all although I guess I am playin the slots where this usually can happen although it is not less frustrating.
Ofcourse I wanna cash out however playtime is also a thing that I value and havenīt gotten that either lately. However this goes for all the casinos, not just 3 dice. I am just having a bad run....
I guess I will have to try more of the tourneys to see if my luck can change. =))
