Question Microgaming Blackjack - Back to normal

Back to normal, in a GOOD way.

I played about 50 hands each of 2 deck Vegas Downtown and Atlantic City blackjack; flatbetting $10 a hand.

In all, when I left, I was up 10.5 units.

I know not too long ago, I would have never reached the 50 hand mark in either version before being gutted, so it seems that something has changed..

You netted 10 bets over only 50 bets? Sounds like an unusually large winning streak.

If it was "normal" you'd proabably lose around one bet.

    I think it's rigged.

To put things on an even keel, I went back later and lost 8 units over 100 hands at downtown Vegas.

Not rigged, by any means. It's the same sort of runs I'd expect at a B&M casino as well.

Okay good, I'm glad you fixed the karma. Otherwise we'd all be in trouble

And no, that number was for combined hands, not 10 for each session

I try it too after this post.

    My result:

Play 100 hands @ Atlantic City blackjack

    Flatbetting $2 a hand.

    I was down 3 units.

That just re-affirms my suspicions that something has indeed changed...I know for a good 6+ months, MG's BJ behaved very weird. Sure, the sample sizes are small, so far, but compared to the way things were going before, you can definitely see the difference in short sessions such as these.

    But, only time will tell..

    Flatlined...

If you ever look at a stock market chart you see ups and downs, when you look at a flat betting system chart the line is generally flat and if there is an up well its not up by much.

I know betting systems get mocked but that's because nobody understands that it isn't about the system you use but your attitude,if you are greedy you will never win enough therefor never quit and eventually be broke. So just quit while you are ahead and use betting systems and create a bigger up than flat betting. However your risk of ruin increases but your possibility of profit increases.

This thread has nothing to do with betting systems or anything of the sort.

Apparently you haven't played MG blackjack over the past year, or you would realize that for the past 6+ months, results have been very skewed, in the house's favor.

I simply posted this thread to see if it was just me that noticed that things have went back to normal, and to see if others were getting the same results; nothing more.

I've been playing blackjack for just over 16 years now, so I've been around the block a number of times and can definitely tell when a game isn't performing as it should.

Well, I was wondering who that was in front of me going around that block! Now I know
past 6+ months, results have been very skewed, in the house's favor.
Hopefully you are right on this winbig..I will go test it out too and just like you I have many years online blackjack behind me (following you around that block ya know ) so one does get to know these things...

Here's crossing my fingers, and will let you know what I think too...
